Hi - has this figure just been released? I just wanted to know if the QC issues described in the previous post have just been noticed and if they're likely to be fixed for further production runs.

Basically my figure seems to be falling apart
1- the light seems to stay on lightly even though it's switched off.
2- the front left shoulder has come off.
3- mounted shoulder cannon on right side doesn't pop out,looks like its come off the spring.
4- back of the shoulder on the right side has come off.
5- and finally the magnets on the bd helmet have just fallen off.

Is that better???

From what it appears this is just one figure so far? but why are these crud issues happening more and more these days...

As far as i've seen it is only my figure aswell thats had these problems.I've only had it for 3 days took some pics and put it in my cabinet.
Then when i went to take some more pics today it just started to all fall apart.

I had 1 and 5 as problems with my Mark 2.The former seemed to sort itself out and the latter I glued back on.

what did you use standard superglue?
i was thinking about glueing the other stuff just the major problem is the shoulder cannon

Sounds like there are too many moving parts, maybe HT did too much?!

I think its just mainly the shoulder area they need to concentrate on a little bit more, the flaps on the legs and the forearms mechanisms are all pretty strong and sturdy.

Im at my girlfreinds at the moment but in the morning when im home I ll PM you with the name of the glue.It s very VERY good stuff!

I think HT is trying to be too innovative lately without trying out the products therefor all these problems are surfacing now. I applaud their innovative efforts but I think the QC needs to be higher if risks are to be raised.

Not sure if this is anything new. My Hot Toys Predator 2 figure — non battle-damaged — has broken in 3-4 different places. Thankfully most of them have been things I can glue back together.

That does look pretty sweet. I wonder if this will be distributed in the US through Sideshow.
