..still doubt they're going to put that much of the Alien in the movie.

Looks kinda like a Chestburster, but we also know it has 3-4 tentacle things, so..

Where are you guys seeing the tentacles? It just looks like the tail wriggling around rapidly.

I watched the part your talking about scene by scene and the "tentacles" everyone is seeing are just reflections from the glass it look's to be a chestburster cause theres only 1 tail

Could be. But why are the forceps holding the creature above the body?

And yes, there are no tentacles.

There's an image floating around AvPGalaxy of Noomi's face in that same scene, and somthing with a few tentacles is hovering above her head..it's obviously the thing that is removed from her stomach.

It's official. Noomi Rapace is the mother of all Aliens. I'm guessing The Fass is the father.


...I'm half-kidding. Not quite sure what to expect as those tentacles threw me off. But we will definitely find out how the Xeno's came to be, that's for sure. The film just isn't centered around them.

...I'm half-kidding. Not quite sure what to expect as those tentacles threw me off. But we will definitely find out how the Xeno's came to be, that's for sure. The film just isn't centered around them.

I don't think the thing they remove from her is any form of Xenomorph...but if there is anything I have learned from trying to understand just what this movie is about, it's that you're almost always completely wrong.

Does anyone think this idea is plausible?

We create the space jockeys? I mean if you think about it, it explains the humanoid appearance?

The crew finds the urns, extracts the gooey thing, that seems to infect them? The mutants eventually 'turn' into the jockeys and start trying to leave the planet, in order to spread it to earth? Thats what i got from the trailer.

Somehow this jockey gets face-hugged, and whilst trying to leave the planet dies from the chestburster? Ship crashes

So the real mystery is, how the xenomorph ties into this?

Just a thought

I am pretty sure they created humans and we have been in there business for the last time and there planing to destroy human life with the alien eggs.And aliens were only suppose to life a short amount time but aliens the movie kind of ruined the story for riley (not for me ) i love it all

Yeah I sort of meant that we didn't create them, but the creatures in the trailer look as if the product of final mutation ( I mean look at the character at the start of the trailer, and the jockey)? If it goes like that, sort of explains how they appear out of nowhere in an ancient temple. Its like they created us to revive their fallen race, and left signs for us to find them, needing something organic to manifest and grow in? ( A reason to head to earth other than just destroying it for no good reason)The Xenomorph could be a by-product of a separate mutation gone wrong, the reason they look so similar in design?

I really hope this movie brings back a revival of this sort of suspense/thriller/horror/sci fi kind of movie. I'm so tired of the predictability of the comic book movie -- this seems so refreshing.

I see what you mean by a human look to them but if they where on earth years ago or came from earth would probably make gaps in the pilot. They say in the trailer they were wrong as far as a invitation and there will be no earth to come home too.So they have a ship full of alien eggs which is to cleanse the planet of us. Wow i could go round and round with ideas here. I always thought that was in the original alien story? Thats why we knew the ship was there , we have made are creators angry by putting are nose were it doesn't belong.

I really hope this movie brings back a revival of this sort of suspense/thriller/horror/sci fi kind of movie. I'm so tired of the predictability of the comic book movie -- this seems so refreshing.

I really got a lot of that 'claustrophobic' feeling from the trailer that I got from the original A L I E N movie.

The fear of what's NOT seen out of frame is WAY better than showing EVERYTHING On screen. Hope this has A LOT of that feeling to it.
