what i read on a different forum is that the space jockeys were a race about to be extinc after something that happened with the predators and that they created the xenos to take on the predators , but it could be a fan thing who knows

Not could be, IS a fan thing. And a stupid fan thing.


And if a Predator and SJ ever did meet and decide to fight..the SJ would most likely just step on the Predator.

If Mr Blue is indeed a Space Jockey he doesnt pose much threat to a Predator. Infact, given Ian whytes literal size is the height of the Space jockey as its a pretty skimpy outfit.. then Ian Whyte in the Wolf Predator outfit would be bigger so i dont see any stepping.( i dont think Mr blue is a SJ though, i think he is merely a slave to whatever the "Space Jockey" really is. or atleast whatever built the ships )

And as for the Jockey "Space suit" its clearly not a combat suit. We have no reason to believe the Jockeys can even fight. The biggest threat shown in Alien was the Alien creature and in prometheus a 3rd party

Not really, its just something i started to type because it rolls off the finger tip easier than trying to explain bald guy in black skin tight bio-spandex. Or blue guy in some other fashion tryinG to describe him. (and i miss typing Mr Black once he got the name berserker )

There's no blood visible in that "chest-burster" cryo-tube clip. Isn't it possible that this could be some kind of proto-facehugger instead?

Perhaps someone is being forcibly restrained and is about to be impregnated.

There was a picture floating around that showed the Space Jockeys head next to a Face hugger ( not literally ) showing how Similar they looked. The Jockey head kind of looks like its face hugged with the Trunk being the Huggers tail.

Now, we have seen plenty of pictures of that capsule and it had the decapitated Trunk head-helmet on its own. What if the Trunk-Helmet forms the rest of the suit when placed on the head of a user? Like it consumes them ala Venom and makes them a Jockey? I wish this movie would come out im constantly thinking.

Why do you want the predators to dominate the jockeys...why? Do you hate the idea of the SJ? Why would anyone want that? That makes no god damn sense...and pretty much ruins the entire image of the SJ.

There's a scene where you see two of the crew members looking at somthing, you see a giant hand near the left of the screen.. It doesn't look like they're all the same size. And it looks like there are other intelligent alien life forms in the film. The Bald Biomechanical guys we keep seeing might even be mutated crew members. Who knows.

It just seems like you're trying to defend the predators, like the Jockeys are powerless compared to them.

....didn't they create humans though? And most likely all of these other biomechanical monstrosities? Do they need to be martial arts experts to pose a threat to somthing?

BTW, the space jockey stomping on a predator thing was a joke.

Whats wrong with me thinking that everything we have been shown so far of the Jockey is that it is a gentle giant? Just because i think from what we have seen so far that a Predator.. given its Savageness (And its tech) would not be in fear of the Jockey?

I love the idea of the space Jockey, i loved the guy in the chair for Alien, the ships design and i love we are getting Prometheus. Its just when we see a Predator, or AVP the Predator creature is a savage. And as of yet the Jockey is a very intelligent being, but combat is one of the last things on its mind. And if it was i think its pretty under armed for it.

Maybe its because the first ever time we saw a Jockey it was strapped helplessly in a chair with its chest burst open and seemingly alone. And that in Prometheus the threats seem to be from the crew themselves mutating.

Im not trying to sell the Jockeys short at all. i just think they are non-combatant from what we have seen. That is probably why they created the Xeno's to fight for them (if the rumour is true) .

Why the hell would you think they're gentle giants? Everything we've seen so far says otherwise.. "Oh, looky! They want us to come and meet them!..We were wrong, we were so wrong.. They're headed to Earth", etc. And they just look evil.


I see the Space Jockeys as being these elite, god-like beings who are very calm, yet incredibly sinister and heartless. They can create life, they can destroy worlds..this is pretty much how they've always been portrayed.

I can imagine the predators knowing to stay the hell away from the jockeys. Knowing that they can't compare to them, they don't stand a chance..they're scared of them.
