Any issues attaching the RO head to the SS Deluxe body?

I was thinking of doing the same but I'm not sure if it the head scales well enough to the oversized SS body. Any additional pics here or in the Vader mod thread would be appreciated.

I only have the RO head resting on the SS body. I need to find or create a piece to make that connection. (I thing there may be a mod of this somewhere in the forums...?)
As far a how the helmet scales with the SS figure... I've always been of the opinion that the HT sculpt is a taste too big. Transferring onto the larger figure looks more scale to me, even if its a bit too tall. I have the ANH boots on the Deluxe now, and that brings the overall down to 13 7/8"...an acceptable height (for me).

Thanks, I'll have search the Vader mod thread for that Neck connection.

Did you use the HT ANH boots or the SS ANH boots on the Deluxe? I'm guessing HT.

Judging by the comparison videos ..does the RO version have better crafted boots. The ANH version has the back of boots so baggy and wrinkling . On the RO, looks more solid :dunno

Don't know if you meant Vader...or the other, so here's both:

The image I couldn't believe I was looking at:

Then a few pages later something that looks like it came from the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles:

It's a really good book, and highly recommended.

Cool, thanks!
Indeed, some gruesome ideas there...

I am doing the Sideshow conversion to the HT ANH helmet (and the RO whenever I can get just the helmet) and I was told by other forum users to get the Man Of Steel neck peg (or a figure with that same type of neck peg). Mine is in the mail and I'll post a pic with the ANH HT helmet on the SS ROTJ Vader. After seeing your pics, I've been swayed to pursue a RO helmet.

I went on the wait list soon after and still no word from Sideshow yet unfortunately.

My comic store got one in today. They said they were only able to get one even though they had requested 3. Not sure how that works or if their stock is the same we buy from but man this figures beautiful.

Still need to futz with the chest box a bit, gotta grab some double sided tape.

Looks great!! I hope Sideshow receives a case of Vaders that they forgot about, and all over our wait lists get converted!

Man that looks great! Tunic over the armor, belt boxes next to the buckle. Nice! :clap

Thanks! I added a small dot of Vallejo model air chrome to the right husk on the tip to make it a smudge more accurate. Definitely an amazing figure. Tonight I'll also be adding some Tamiya clear red to the saber blade to make it look a little
Less pink. Will post pics when I'm done.

Received mine today. Very nice figure. A little nervous to take the belt boxes off to put the batteries in, but I'll get to it eventually. Might even want to try putting the robe over the chest armor but for now it'll stay as is. Looks great on display. Really glad to have him!
