Here's my current set up. Just waiting on my stormtrooper to arrive.

Yeah every shot I see of that ANH Vader, he just seems to have no chest or bulk to him whatsoever. The RO Vader might be a little too big and broad-chested, but it still comes a lot closer to what he should look like I think.

Finally found Rogue One Vader at my local comic book shop, can't wait to crack him open!
Congrats. What did you pay with tax?

We have no hot toy dealers in my city. Have to wait till this weekend to get mine when the family goes to Disney.

Eh, I'm not sure. When I look at the R1 figure, it just doesn't seem to have the sloped shoulders that ANH Vader seems to have in many images. The chest armor makes the shoulders on the R1 figure look a bit too wide to me to be ANH.

Yeah the shoulders may not be as sloped, but the upper body's still got some actual width to it like Prowse had. The ANH Figure just looks way too narrow shouldered and reminds me too much of when skinny little Hayden Christiansen was wearing the costume.

The shoulder bells slightly under the armour helps sell the slope. On the RO figure the bells are flush, almost a continuation of the armour giving the wider shape. If you reposition the shoulder bells under the armour slightly it should improve the silhouette.

:exactly:

The instructions say no armor pieces are removable. Does that include the belt?

Me ne can unhinged at the buckle and there seems to be a button connection that makes it detachable at the buckle. Is that supposed to be glued, or is that normal ?
The instructions show detaching belt boxes directly from th figure vs removing the belt to make the operation easier...

Be careful when trying to remove the belt. I would suggest using some small tweezers. I heavy handedly thought it was the same attachment as the ANH and tore it. ( see pic) . I have since repaired it.

Mine came undone while I was messing with him. The pin seems to just go back in place. I wish it was velcro.

My belt was detached in the box. Plugged it back together and hasn't come undone since

Yup, that's exactly what I was planning to do. From Guyver's breakdown pics earlier it looks like they're attached with some thin plastic or something, so shouldn't be too hard to remove and lower them.

I'd uploaded this and several more earlier in the thread, but they appear to have become buried under constant discussion of whether the figure comes with a lightsabre blade or not.
