There will be a release every couple weeks from now until the last figure in the pic. Probably a few months until all figures are released in HK.

Not sure about the non Star Wars figures, but the Vader and stormies will be out before the end of year in HK. My bet is the week when rogue one hits HK.

I will not be surprised if resistance Rey and old Han and Chewie are out around the same time frame.

And there will be another Star Wars figure in dec in HK for Toy Soul 2016. Last year was the jakku stormie.

Surely there's at least the comparisons between the ANH version and the sideshow version to reference though aren't there? Considering the Rogue One version seems to be mostly new gloves and that's about it? Also do we have any idea yet whether the Rogue One Vader is as stumpy/short looking as the ANH version was?

I am in the minority here...
But I love my ROTJ Vader. I sold my Deluxe but kept the base and detachable helmet w/base. The helmet is superior on HT, but I think SS captured Vaders proportions and his broad, intimidating size and the new undersuit is perfect.

It is a great figure. Poses up well. Just putting in my 2 cents for the other side of the argument

Sideshow really should have updated the facemask sculpt when they reissued their DX Vader figure - they did it for Bossk. They did a great job on stuff like the chestbox and belt but SSC Vader's huge mouth triangle always throws it off for me.

I'm actually bought the HT ANH headsculpt to put on this but never figured out how to put it on haha. I have it on display beside it. The SS just does not bother me that much.

I have to nitpick but why is Vaders tunic under his armor. It's obviously like that in Rogue One, but why? This is supposed to take place right before ANH so I really hope they explain why he looks brand new here and then looks like he's covered in dirt and busted up in ANH.

He's probably seen briefly several times through out the movie. Near the end of the movie he gets in a battle or something.

Yeah I can maybe understand them not realizing how off it was the first time, but after the release of the HT Vader it should have been glaringly obvious to them just how incorrect their version was. And it doesn't exactly seem like it would be the most expensive fix to make.

The Sideshow helmet doesn't look accurate to the movie, but it always reminds me of this Vader painting (with the big mouth and small dome,) which is kinda cool in a way...

That's the thing. I know the Sideshow is not 100% accurate to the film...but it it still VADER. I think it looks amazing.

I have the sideshow deluxe but want the bodysuit from their new release and I have the hot toys version and both are good figures. They both look like Vader and either version can look awesome when posed. I am not a fanatic on accuracy but I can see where hardcore fans can be. I have modded some figures in the past with capes and such but I like these pretty much as is. Hot toys biggest issue for me was the gloves but looks like they fixed that with the rogue one release.
