Wonder what they did with all the extra lightsaber blades.



Ended up giving in to Hot Toys Star Wars, got ANH Vader for $150. I figured it wouldn't hurt and I have no interest in any of the others (save for maybe Stormtrooper disguise Han, ESB Boba or Jedi Luke). I just got bored of not buying anything. This Rogue One Vader does look better though, I prefer the tunic and hands. Yeah, the mask isn't scuffed up like the ANH one, but I kind of like it all pristine and glossed up if the proto pics are anything to go by . . .

Just let the RO Vader fall off the shelf a few times for that ruff'd up ANH look.

I was thinking of tying it to my car and going around the block a few times to achieve the same look. Gotta make sure the tunic is on the outside tho . . .

This will be a novelty as it's the first HT I've ordered from there (apart from all the Sideshow orders that shipped direct from HK).

I figured that's what they'd do. Including the blade is mighty white of them.

Non-light-up saber is probably easier in the end. No stupid electronic functions.

I have Kylo Ren and I've never put the light-up arm in as I don't want to risk breaking the zipper. Plus, I prefer the regular arm as I can change out the hands. So I'm glad that with this Vader it brought the price down from the ANH.

I don't like light-up features that take any effort to activate beyond a jedi-gesture.

I get so tired watching Lejuan's ever-trekking 3PO sig. Why would they program a robot to walk so laboriously anyway?
