So I'm wondering what are the chances HT decide to do an exclusive Rogue One Vader version. They've done it for the Death trooper and for Donnie Yangs character. Maybe the exclusive will have the lightsaber and a cooler base with a Rebel Helmet next to it. Now that would be awesome !!

I'm down for the exclusive base, but every figure already comes with a lightsaber. The lightsaber would be an awful exclusive that would piss everyone off.

Vader will not fight with the rebels so none of that will happen. Mark my words.

Based on recent spoilers, this does not seem to be the case. Hype for this movie skyrocketing.

He may not. They just blast the door when entering. Stormies storm in and Vader came a long moment after that when everything was cleared.

Supposedly some changes to the ending of the film were made during the reshoots so even thought there was stuff out there about how he doesn't use a lightsaber we don't actually know if that was pre or post reshoot information.

Maybe not a new armor, but a backup/spare armor that has seen action. I mean, you think he's Batman (Nolan's), who ordered 10,000 units of the cowl to have spares? XD

Like anything, he needs to be properly futzed.

But once that's done, this is easily the best 1/6 Vader out of the box. Easily.

And I say that as a HUUUUGE ANH Vader fan. Sure this guy doesn't have all the cool rough and tough weathering on the helmet, but they fixed so many of the other issues/innacuracies that I definitely prefer this guy over their ANH release. It's much easier to add a little weathering than all the mods people had to do to really get a decent ANH look from the first version.

I'm on the verge of buying a HT ANH Vader and I'm very accuracy oriented. If you have a moment could you please share what issues/innacuracies have been fixed when compares to the RO Vader?

I don't mind repainting but I'd love to get the most accurate basis figure
