I'll have to look for it but I thought the Anakin/Vader comment was a quote from one of the head guys at Hot Toys...

As I recall, that was only "Anakin" and from a long long time ago. Then we started joking around about DX two-pack releases and I mentioned they could do an Anakin and RotS Vader (instead of two Anakins).

I wouldn't be surprised if we get one of those first actually. Esb to go with Luke or a Anh to kick it off.

I say that, not because I wouldn't want one, but because Sideshow just came out with ROTJ Vader. Seeing as how both companies are selling/will sell SW 1/6 merch, I don't anticipate HT going in that direction.

Eh by the time it comes out we will be 2 or 3 years removed from SS Vader. Depending on who is doing the math , lol.

i would imagine Hot Toys will return to Star Wars with an Episode 7 release... perhaps we will see some OT characters as they star in the one off films.

Chan wants an Anakin, it'll be on the short list to get made. Aside from his personal preferences and if there's any restrictions put onto HT as far as 'push this series' etc... I'm sure HT is going to follow their standard mode and produce whichever characters they think will make bank regardless of what any other company is producing.

Everyone already knows that. And it's the same for all their lines - and it applies to any company producing content under license of course, not just HT. Hot Toys can't just make and sell whatever they want - rest assured there are a number of missing figures you would have seen already in a number of lines if they had carte blanche.
