Off-topic, but I've been listening to the **** out of Alice in Chains recently. I appreciate it more now than I did when I was a teenager. I probably put Dirt on 2-3 times a week in my office.I like this post. Repped.
Lord, I hope the Han sculpt improves beyond what we see on Luke's box.Hi Guys I'm loving this figure so much I need to get a Han Stormy now..
Your pre-order of the Luke Skywalker (Stormtrooper Disguise Version) - Sixth Scale Figure (Hot Toys) (902468) will be arriving into our U.S. warehouse in approximately 9 days at which time we will charge your card for the item.
I say good for you I'm not getting Pilot Luke, but as long as you love it yourself then that is the most important thing. I've heard many people talk about certain figures saying that a certain mod is necessary, yet I leave all mine stock. The only thing that matters is if you love it.This figure looks great, I am fighting ordering it though. I do have the SS pilot Luke on pre-order and keeping my order as I do think it will look much better in hand. Even though I think early pics get overly criticized, it is disappointing seeing Dave is a puppet for SS. That's rediculous Dave and we expect more from you.
Maybe TFA trooper will have to suffer.

The pics that were posted on that thread were in-hand, proper quality, actually quite professional. Not through glass or in-store. So why the censorship?
Darklord Dave said:I think we'll close this thread until we get some in hand pics from Sideshow shipping.
John Woo i still love it despite all the negative comments. To be honest, the actual thing looks better than the pics. it's a bit (as always) off in the pics due to the LED light i used.
Woo's pics were proper in hand pictures, not through glass. So I don't understand that train of thought. On that point, maybe Dave considered they were just as unrepresentative as 'through the glass' photos?
As we know, he closed the thread with the words,
John Woo admitted himself that his photos made the sculpt look worse (as always) due to lighting:
The only photos of the sculpt I found remotely flattering were those with the helmet on. They were the ones that approached natural lighting, with the helmet casting shadow. SS sculpts/paint can't withstand light the same way Hot Toys' sculpt/paint generally can.
Anyway I would suggest you stop discussing it in here or Dave will close this one too and start giving out infractions.
