Buy the 1/12th, put it on a shelf on the far end of the room, then tell people it's 1/6th and the perspective makes it seem small; simple.

I was checking facebook to see what the reactions were, and most of them are "wut, no 1/6? FAIL". I guess people just don't realize how impractical (and impossible) a fully manufactured 1/6 version of it would be. Even if it was somehow manageable from a production standpoint, the shipping and QC issues would be outrageous. That's not even commenting on what it'd be priced at.

Totally agree with you. I mean seriously how many people can actually buy a 1/6 Bat after taking all those points in consideration. Cost and shipping will be crazy! If 1/6 Bat is actually made, we can foresee comments like "oh finally this thing is out, but too expensive, so pass." "This is from a movie made long time ago no one is interested anymore. Now where is Batman Returns?".

Ya, as i said the other thread, they aren't making the 1/6 so no need to worry about it. If some people on FB aren't paying attention to what they decided to do, make the 1/12 not the 1/6th, then it is what it is...they are just going to make baseless comments.

and people who are like "no 1/6?" i can guarantee that the $779 price tag just for the 1/12, those people wouldn't be buying the 1/6 anyway because it would be a few thousand dollars.

Based on what we paid for the 89 Batmobile (well, at least some of us not lucky enough to get it through the WB store) this thing will be around $100 to ship.

I hope (for the ones that will get it) that it will be packaged un-assembled

Tumbler and Batpod got em, so I'd expect they'd do this to (even if it's just the figures).

The only one that didn't was the '89 Batmobile. Not even Crawford reviewed it.

90% of the responses I have seen so far on HK forum is that people freaking love it....but most are passing because there is no room to display it. There is not as much complaint about price as here for sure. If you have been to a typical HK apartment it's understandable. In fact 'no room' seems to be a more common complaint among collectors there than 'no money'.

Have you actually thought about it and worked out why there is complaining? The same sort of scenario for houses/mortgages.

oooff. man, well I can handle the Flex Payment, just will try not to buy too much in 2015, which wont be a problem. the movies im looking forward to aren't until 2016 so that means figures wont be until 2017.
