I just did a search on evilbay, and there are a couple of vendors trying to get $670.00 plus $115.00 shipping to the US. They claim a release date of July 31, but WOW on the price!
I still wonder, if Hot Toys is staying quiet about this figure because of maybe QC issues, or the fact that the cowl is so bad, they are just biding there time to fix these issues????????????

No..? The "price wars" have started already?? Before the figure is even out??? Lol thats rediculous, i thought paying $350 was stupid of me but whoever buys this figure at $670 plus shipping needs a brain exam!! Then afterwards be shot in the head for the stupidness. This could end up being - with a few tweaks - the figure of the moment. But at $670? No, not at all. For that price i would rather just buy a 1/1 scale bust of the dark knight or joker lol

Doubtful. Doubtful because of the fact that they don't think the cowl is bad. I don't think its QC issues either. They just don't have enough figures from page 1 made yet. When they do, we'll get final product pictures of the page 1 figure in new poses.

I would only start believing that this would start shipping out next month when we get to see photos of it on display at Toy Hunters in Hong Kong before July ends. 1989 Batmobile had several "paparazzi-style" photos of it from HK a couple of weeks before we finally start getting the first in-hand photos of it yesterday.
I can't wait to see photos. I have this preodered and cannot wait for it to be released.

Don't hold your breath with these ebay sellers. They have to by ebay rules sell items within a 30 day window. If you notice the last ebay seller on the search his price is $670 and when you scroll down in the listing it says Manufacturer releasing this on July 31st. Hogwash!!!!!!!!!
I used to stress and always check ebay for new items, now I just check the Facebook pages of One Sixth Republic, Plastic Enemies, and Hot Toys themselves, then you have a more accurate date on when or if this Batboy is really coming out. (I have a hunch, this will come out around Halloween)

No way! Its been pushed 3 months lol il cry if it takes that long. And my original choice was to pick between the 1/6 1989 Batmobile coz god knows how much of a fan i am of that movie and car, and my second option was this 1/4 Batman. And im kicking myself already becoz people who preordered the batmobile already have it delivered in their hand and im sat here waiting for this ticking time bomb... Both products are Hot Toys but seriously, this should have been out 2-3 months ago and thats without a rush because this was first shown a year ago and like a month later sellers started taking preorders. Also the 1st wave of preorders has been sold out for months. This better blow my expectations out the universe when i get it in hand, if it doesnt then it will be that last time i ever take such an interest in Hot Toys products that i preorder them 10 months in advance. The only slight consolation is that when i do get it i will have the sideshow exclusive... When i get it...

Then, when or if the 1/4 scale TDKR Bat's come out, you can then get the exclusive version somewhere within reason. Rule of thumb on ebay, when the DX 12 came out, there were pages and pages of preorders for this. Then when if actually shipped, there were still pages and pages for sale. Now look on the 1/4 side, currently on ebay there are only three for preorder. Then around the web from BBTS to Sideshow themselves you still can preorder this so it is definitely not sold out!
Anyway, moral of the story is never preorder something that far out, I have been burned to many times by Hot Toys release dates. I have learned to keep the cash on hand and if it is something that I have to have on day one shipping, then fire up ebay and buy from one of the local Hong Kong dealers, albeit higher prices but you will have it in hand!!!!!

I hear what your saying, but now that iv waited 10 months i think to myself do i really want to pull out my money at what might be the last month of waiting?? Then im also thinking what if Hot Toys go and make a Batmobile 2.0 for their Batman Returns line? like they did with the tumbler. And im really dying to see Hot Toys take on the Returns batsuit. I much preferred it to the 89 Batsuit. Anyway my point being, im kind of hoping 1/4 Bats comes within the next month and also i hope Hot Toys do make a 2.0 of the batmobile, even if its 2015 release. It will give me time to save for it and the Batman Returns 1/6 to go with it!!!
I've said that quite a few times myself. One way or another they keep getting me to eat my words. Probably one of the most viciously annoying cycles I can think of. It sucks to wait so long but lately Hot Toys has really been impressing me with their products. Although, I have bashed them for postponing this figure time after time, and even questioned if it even exists outside of the prototype, but in all honesty, I have a lot of faith that it'll be worth the wait.
