What do you guys think? Is it worth $60-$70 more to get the exclusive version or stick with the regular?

I say go for the Exclusive. This figure looks better with the Wayne sculpt IMO.

I was wondering that too. I got the regular as I think we will see a knock off empty cowl. If not I will turn the Sonar around to hold.

For some reason I kind of want one of these, despite my misgivings. Not sure if I want it bad enough to sell my EX Part 3 Jason PF to pay for it, but you never know. Maybe I'm just feeling that "Gotta have it now!" rush that happens with every release and fades in a week or two.

That's the thing about not owning this that's bothering me. I've been imagining my DX 12 with this cowled head (reg and sonar), mouthplates and maybe even the Bale head.

Oh well. Maybe next release.

I want a 3D printer. No limits to 1/6.

Someone at work has one and made a little legoesque mini figure thing. It was pretty impressive.

That will be the future, I'm sure. They'll just cut out the middle man, the sculptor.

This is easy to fix, straighten the strap and glue if back on.

Yep. They pull out real easy.

I was pleasantly surprised to see that they actually bend in two directions. Not full range of motion like a ball joint, but they both dorsi-flex/plantar-flex, as well as pronate/supinate.

You need something that works on fabrics, plastics, rubber etc...
Maglor did recommend "Quick Grip" glue in his DX12 mod thread, I agree it work well for this kind of thing.

Im working on them now. I will probably shrink the head too because the face plates dont match up with the DX. Its also going to be a little bigger because the DX head is a little on the small side.

I would just tuck it up under there where it's supposed to be. I see no need to glue it. The part that is curling back out is never seen as it's always under the chest armor when correctly positioned.

I doubt it's even designed to be glued at all. They weren't on the DX12.

Glad you like yours. I'm 90% sure I'm gonna sell it. I would need to fix the abdomen if I was going to keep it, and that would mean damaging the figure. No way I can look at the stomach now the way it is, knowing exactly how to make it better.

But the small head, wide shoulder thing makes me feel even more helpless. Nothing I can do to fix it. Absolutely nothing.

In the end it comes down to individual needs and tastes, Maglor cannot unsee the stuff that bothers him and I think this figure is much better out of the box than a modified DX12, in other words an obvious keep.
