If it weren't for people who complain and demand better quality, We would not have the level of realism we currently getting. Everyone and everything serves a purpose.

True. For example the Enterbay War version Scarface and Respect version. War was good and an amazin headsculpt with emotion, but the recent Respect version is like they shrunk Al Pacino and put him in a box lol its that good. Which is why i had to get both!

While that is indeed correct there also comes a cut off point.

I understand you point, all im saying is that yes Hot Toys have been in the game so long that they shouldnt have no problem making a great job amd as pointed out they did it in the DX09, thats why im dying for me Batman Returns line. Im just saying even if they dont nail it, its still a really jaw dropping piece. I just got told that theyr also releasing a Iron Man 3 line in 1/4 scale, more accurately the Heartbreaker armour which i most definitly am going to pre order asap to add to my 1/4 collection :)

But back to the point, yes there are faults and hopfully they have been resolved as we havent seen any recent updated pictures. But even if there is, before you notice them faults your jaw will be on the floor when you have it posed lol 1/4 scale really overwhelms you especially with this detail and such a iconic character. Iv got the 1/4 89 Batman on pre order from NECA aswell, because again the look and size of it will be unbelievable at that scale.

I hear what your concerns are though, and take them in consideration :)

Have you seen the Enterbay Batman? I think that's one of the reasons I'm so harsh on this figure. They managed to make something so lifelike; it was like a miniature Bale; on their first try. As I said, Hot Toys has attempted Bale's likeness 6 times before, there should be no reason for this thing not to have a likeness that is equal to, or better than, what the competition has out out. Especially when you see what HT has been able to accomplish over the years.

As for your argument that it's overwhelming, I agree. Go back to the first page of this thread and look at my post. I was ecstatic, and I was incredibly excited because they included everything I could possibly want. The only reason for my disappointment is because I know that this thing is so close to being definitive. It's not that it's bad, it's that some important features are bad, and, if the issues with it were fixed, it would be THE Batman. It has the potential to be, either a "pretty good/meh" Batman, or, what very well could be "the end all be all 1/4 scale Batman."

At the moment it looks like a giant DX12, flaws and all. A blow up. That's not what I want from a 1/4 scale figure. Lets hope we see a lot of improvement with the next series of pics.

:dunno

DX12 looks better than this.

Better Wayne sculpt.

Better undersuit.

Better chest.

Better proportions.

Better wrist/glove transition.

Overall just looks less awkward.

Yes my cousin has the Enterbay 1/4 Batman, and also the Joker. I actually loved the 1/4 Joker so much i bought it from him just to stand next to this Batman. I did like the Enterbay Batman, you could also get some ok poses out of it considering how that suit is quite restrictive. The sculpt was pretty sweet i must say, it just did look like Christian Bale under that cowl. My only pick offs on that was the Bruce Wayne sculpt which i just didnt really like, much prefer the one that comes with this. And the magnets on the belt and cape were a bit funny, i guess they just wernt strong. Or maybe there is no problem and that was just a 1 off on my cousins figure.

But compared to this, i think no one can make a better Begins suit than Enterbay has but in terms of TDK and Rises suit. This 1 will hold the lead for most sought after. Especially in 1/4 scale.

I think the 'razzamatazz' of a 1/4 figure sometimes blinds people from seeing and judging it truthfully.

:lecture

"Oh look! It's 1/4 scale TDKR Batman with complex batsuit! I'm sure my friends would have their jaws dropped upon the size of this thing! Definitely the definitive Nolan Batman figure --- and it's Hot Toys!!!!"

There's a 31" TDKR figure and no one seriously bashes the likeness -- because it's $50, not $465 with a proud description that states "with Authentic Likeness to Christian Bale as Batman". You can't call $465 figure JUST A FIGURE.

Lol ok. What would you call it..?

I won't respond to someone who even had to ask what I was trying to say, so...

:wave

Compared to that $95 kids toy, this is a masterpiece lol thats my answer to you. Look at the work and time and materials put into this figure thats why its $465+

I guess the simplest way to explain it is the $95 version compared to Hot Toys version is like comparing George Clooney to Christian Bale in their portrayal of Batman lol 1 is cheap and all "look at me im so big" and the other is a high quality collectors item made with precision and thought. I mean as i said before even i have a pre order on a NECA 1/4 Batman 1989 which is $100. I know it isnt going to be as amazing and well made as this Hot Toys 1 but will still look good stood next to eachother.

Ok whatever. Lets agree its gonna be amazing to some and a piece of ***** to others... :) to me its gonna be amazing either way because im a big Batman fan.

Guys, lets chill...it was starting off ok...but now it's starting to fall apart. Lets not turn each other into enemies now.

We will know the answer to our questions when this figure comes out.

Dude no issues on my part, i dont mind people saying what problems this figure might have. All im putting forward is my opinion and past experience iv had had with Hot Toys products. But saying this figure is poor is way off, i said only yesterday yes Hot Toys should deliver this figure in perfect order because of the years of creating the TDK line of figures but if there is any minor issues just try fix them yourself or be happy with what you have. Its either that or sell it on once you have it in hand, but i really doubt there will be a 2.0 of this so...

Again this is just my opinion that i dont force on anyone :) i have mutual respect for other collectors opinions.

Yes it will be one of its kind! So see the whole picture and decide to pass or buy it...

Yeh no hostility intended here either. :peace

But my opinion is this is a poor representation of TDKR Bats. The enlarged scale should have allowed more scope to improve on the 1/6 whereas this actually looks worse than the DX12 to me.

My point exactly. Love it or hate it, but keep neutral when it comes to advising people on a purchase. Check out The Clipper King's reviews on youtube if you want to see my point. He gives good points, bad points and then explains why he purchased it. But never puts people off buying them.
