Man that sucks. I didn't order the figure cause of the price but I thought it looked bad ass with the deep purple and blue coloring. Now to see that it's just all black is a disappointment.

There was no purple or blue. It's the exact same figure. It was in a room that was blue. Hot toys spelled out in the description it was black.

Stealth mode figures should be as dark a possible I think!

My "Ghost" Mark 4 custom that is a close as possible to the Stealth Mode MK7.

Sorry bud. It's the exact same issue again. And why people saw blue before. It's a reflection. hot toys official description states it is black on black on black. No blue. None. Anywhere. Not even a little. There never was.

It's no different then the way neon or bright lights (or in a photo studio any background or lighting) bounce off your car paint and it reflects.

I have a feeling it was a joke... obviously a reflection

I disagree.

While your eyes may have accounted for the color shift from black/grey to the hints of cool tones in the images, there's no denying that they're there. Sure, the announcement clearly says, "black." But you'll find that most internet people never make it past the pictures.

I honestly hope that Hot Toys doesn't photograph their figures in a blue room. I have a certain respect for whoever it is doing the shooting there, and I'm pretty sure he's smarter than that. It's more likely that a light blue gel was used on the back lights. It's a trick for enhancing the metallic appearance. Which is fine when you want to jazz up the figure, but some open-lit shots of this one would have been nice. As it is, the images too ambiguous.

Still keeping my order, though. The implied blues was only part of the sexy.

Looks really really great... that said I am kinda tempted to cancel my waitlist reservation to concentrate on the main AoU line, starting to get Brainiac urges to collect em all (specifically Ultron... after postage and import this is the same outlay as Prime!)
