Yeah could be, but its obvious that its lit up really bright by the flash. Unless you have a spot light on it your not gonna see all the details at once that clear when its on your shelf but i hope im wrong.

I went to the show again and re-took some photo , one without flash and one with Flash, under the normal lighting without flash, the details is very subtle, all you see is a dark object. it is much better with Flash , but still far from official images

I have no doubts this will be a knock out... I was expecting black and dark bronze since I first seen the promo pics, and I have absolutely no problem with any of the pictures i've seen of it since... If anything the variety of different appearances it has had in pictures is more of a reason to love it, I said this before and I stick by it... The beauty in this figure for me is the way it reflects light and color as opposed to the color the the armor itself. It's beautiful... I agree with Y4NK33 PL4N3T. If you're unsatisfied with it, cancel so someone who will love it for what it is can get it instead of looking at it as an easy turn around investment because it's rare.

There was no purple or blue. It's the exact same figure. It was in a room that was blue. Hot toys spelled out in the description it was black.

I'll be honest, I never read the description. I just looked at the pics. Even still, those pictures are extremely misleading to what the final product actually looks like. They should've just taken the pics without all the filters/special lighting.

Why would they do that though? You want to make your figure look best.

It wouldn't matter how they take the photos. People wil always find a reason to complain. So why not make it look best. People also see things very different. I saw it as it looks in other light. Just different shades of black.

Did you darken this pic after you posted it. I thought I remember it being brighter in the background. Either way glad i PO'd on the first day. Love the matte/gloss finish with the bronze. Exciting!

I thought the blue pictures look way better then the gray ones. I hope Hot Toys will go for the blue look. That was the color of the Stealth Armor in the comic book. not this gray thing. Do the right thing HT.
