I'm coming 'round to the VII suit...

Hmmm? They all look awesome in their own way. I like the classic Mark IV look the best, I think. But the Mark VI is sweet looking too. Really a tough choice.

The only real option out there is the long sold out, and high price fetching "Man in suit" that was the Jericho outfit from Iron Man 1. Other than that, you need a Mech Test body and clothes that don't exist yet.

Not looking for a "suited" Tony. I was looking more for a "workshop" Tony that could use the holo-thingee from the Mark II Unleashed Exclusive.

So no Tony advice? :monkey2

Here's my recently-bashed Tony Stark :

I've had the Mark IV head sculpt, glasses, and donut & box for a while (bought them off ebay last year for around $55 shipped). I don't have the Mark IV yet but I'm buying the combo Gantry set, wanted the extra pieces that weren't included. I recently bought the "Stark Suit Set" from Asmus Toys shown here to complete the bash, but its currently sold out:

It isn't as nice as the Hot Toys Jericho suit from a few years back, but it'll do for now.

It's crazy how figures can look so good in 1/6 scale but suits for the most part just can't look right. Is it the bulky fabric, or the stitching? I have yet to see a suit on a 1/6 that really looked tailored. I was thinking of using the RDJ head from this to create an additional figure but can't find a dark suit that looks great yet.

Man i'm excited to get this. Maybe it's cause i have not gotten an IM fig since M3. How much has the quality improved since 2009?

The paint looks miles better.

You and I are in the exact same boat except I have the MKIII BD. Thats it. Plus i've always wanted a Stark sculpt too. I'm pretty pumped for this. I still want a MKIV though.

I just scored one of these....It will be my 1st ironman cant wait..I got on waitlist but another member was cool enough to offer one up and jumped on it....Is there any penalty for canceling on the waitlist before any payments ? anyway cant wait to get this one ...

after this and mark 7 and a war machine i hope i can be done......so addicted to these its not funny.........

A QUICK question is it best to not use a stand for the ironman dont want the paint fading from stand ?or is fading from something else like handling figure too much ?

No more true words could describe me too!!!!!:slap:slap:slap

It all started with me winning an ebay auction for the DC Direct 1/6 Dark Knight Joker for $19. 248 ( this includes Medicom RAH and Sideshow as well as HT ) 1/6 figures later, I could stop if I wanted.

But they are great!:wave

No, some have faded even inside an unopened box. But frequent handling and touching of the rubber parts might speed up the fading process it seems.
