If there is another member who got this and have no changed their mind about it, I'd buy it off you. I wait listed, but who knows if that will pan out.

The figure looks nice, but the sculpt looks nothing like Paltrow

I agree. I'm starting to work on a custom Tony and really want a Pepper to go along with him, but I want it to be a close to perfect as possible. (The Loki likeliness comes to mind.) While this is a nice figure it just doesn't work for me as a Ms. Potts.

I imagine IM3 is going to be a huge property for Hot Toys, and with the fan poll we'll get Pepper Potts.

Ok never have been on a waitlist I have a question. Is it common for them to run waitlist option for so long??? It has been going now for three days. If they are actually sold out and they are allowing for some cancellations, credit card declines, etc you would think they would only allow a certain amount of wait slots.

They rarely close wait lists before all factors have been decided. In rare cases (like the Joker PF EX) they may close the wait list before the item has even shipped. I'm guessing thats because the number of people on the wait list has probably exceeded the entire edition size. At that point they can safely turn away people because if the edition size is 1,250 and there are 1,300 wait listers, you've got more than enough in line as it is.

This was one of the rare times a figure is suddenly in stock, no pre-order window. So in theory they really shouldn't have even had a wait list because everyone should have been charged immediately. So the only factors that could really open up a wait list slot would be the few returns they might get. So even though thats the case, Sideshow usually doesn't close wait lists so quickly.

So chances of many people on the waitlist actually getting one are slim to nil.

More then likely next month. Once the flexpay drop off.

Ya if you got on very fast a FP order could have a problem. But give what they are selling on eBay. I cannot see many falling off. I have been offered $300 plus shipping for my ironman. Sorry I see you as sol on this.:peace

That picture makes no sense, unless Tony Stark is as much of a collector as we are... actually, that makes plenty of sense. :)

The Mk.II was stolen by Rhodey to make War Machine, so that one shouldn't be there unless Stark made another one for nostalgic purposes.

The Mk.V would be better off in suitcase-form, not deployed out like that. Unless, of course, he keeps duplicates of all his suits.

Aw, who am I kidding? It's great eye-candy. :D

Well the Mark I was destroyed in the Arc Reactor explosion in IM, so he built a replica, who says he can't just build another.
Also makes me really want the Mark V now just because it stands out.

Looking at the full size version it looks like the mkII isn't there.

Edit: looking again it may well be there, but behind glass or something. I agree, this would make no sense, but then why would he repair the helmet of the mkIII and to fix the bullethole-ridden chest? And how does any of this jibe with Stark's comment that he's been called many things but not sentimental?
