What is the general opinion on this thread about the X-men origins Wolverine? With HT's announcement I'm on the fence whether I should keep my pre order or just wait for the X- trilogy costumed Wolverine.
Even though Xmen 1 and 2 are far superior as movies go, imo this is easily Wolverine's best look
DX, my friend.

Lol Looking at Hot Toys schedule, Rambo DX, Rocky DX, and all the Marvel movies to name a few, I can't wait that long.

I am keeping mine. I prefer this version compared to the x-men leather suit. Truth be told, I would probably buy both but still like the look of Origins.

Im going for this one over the superhero look.

I'll hold off for the DX version, I love the V1 but the prospect of a DX is too good.

I would get this figure if you like it, I don't see how you can really DX Origins Wolverine, X-Trilogy maybe, but not Origins, I don't think it'll happen.

Does anyone know if theres a Sideshow exclusive lined up for Wolverine though or when we'd be likely to hear about it if not?

It seems that there's now a fear growing in collectors. Do I buy the MMS? If so what if they release a DX after?

Understandably, but just going off what little we know about DX so far, I don't see Origins Wolverine qualifying. I'd really like to see about half a dozen DX figures out so that some firmer understanding of what constitutes a DX can be had, that way we can make that decision.

We might find that the DX might apply to brand new releases in the future.
The Rocky and Rambo could be based on there last movies.
It would be a shame if Hot Toys just used DX for updating there back catalogue

My assumption for DX figures is using PERS and loading the figure with abundant and beyond standard accessories where it can really make for a nice figure package.

Ignoring that they're reissues of sorts of previous figures, the TDK DX figures are pretty elaborate with tech and accessories, which is why I don't see a Wolverine, I just can't see what you can do with him to elevate a figure beyond what this one will be, PERS is no big deal with him, bone claw hands isn't all the extra really, no other costume is all that important.

Keep us focused Dragon.

I read awhile back Wooskster said the sculpt is still being tweaked. I cannot imagine it looking much better but I am all for even better. Awesome figure with a long wait :D

I'll try!!!!!!!!!!

The body is definitely plastic jointed arms. Is it just me or do they look like they're NOT double jointed?

Oh crud! No no no no!!! This was supposed to be a pass!!! Dammit! I'm broke! Whyyyy. I am so getting this now. This sucks.

Hmm, no DX :(

This one does look prefect as he is, the eys and the angry face if a DX were to have them would be good but if not this one is mighty tempting, might have to get him after all :lol

Yeah that is impressive. The costuming is incredible and the headsculpt is spot on, as usual. I thought I had no interest in getting a figure from this movie, but that Wolverine is looking better and better...
