Don't roll your eyes at me, do you know how dumb it is to ask for dates from these company's?

I understand people wanting a specific date but I wouldn't want to sacrifice quality to meet a date.

I prefer a 4Q release date (Oct, Nov, Dec) knowing the product will be released sometime within the 3 mos and get a quality product.

These items are produced on a smaller scale than toys at your local store. A quality product is important to justify the hefty pricetag.

Needless to say, it will be a loooong wait for this bad boy.

That's good news for me. I'm still trying to recover from all the stuff that has come out this summer. With all the previews of new figures, I thought I was going to miss out on some of these. Take your time Hot Toys.

My summer stuff hasn't hit (SS) yet:

-Predator 1
-Mark I
-TT slim and narrow version
-John Connor
-T-600
-Dlx Joker (not SS)

They all come at once I may say Oh ^^^^^. Otherwise, I am ready for a new fig. I say bring em on HT. :D

I am calm :)

My point was of frustration that you would even need such a thing explained.:peace

Well, because I acted before the big X-Men trilogy announcement, I received a 12" Wolverine this week to have a movie X-Men suit to have the alternate option with this figure, it's not as nice as a Hot Toys will be, if/when they get to Wolverine, but it'll allow me to have a nice trilogy Wolverine in my collection in the mean time since the breaking of Medicom figure.

yea i do because im kinda new to this collecting thing and im unfamiliar to hot toys dates because the hot toys t600 was supposed to come out in july but its not out yet so thats why i want actual dates but o well i guess.

All i can say is get used to it, ^^^^ gets delayed ALL the time in the game.

Which is exactly the reason for the Quarter release estimates, with a 3 month window, small issues can arise with seriously affecting release. Occassionally non-typical things arise and things get pushed out further.

Another common thing is that not everyone selling a figure, especially Hot Toys, will be shipping orders at the same time, so from the manufacturer, the piece isn't late, just your dealer.

ok well can you explain why things get delated all the time is it because of approvel

A number of things cause dealys. Sometimes it's because of an ongoing pursuit of how to make the figure best. For example Sideshow's Episode 3 Obi-Wan figure was delayed because they pursued a better fabric to match his film costume and found one but at a point where it took longer than expected to ship him because they didn't start fabrication on schedule.

Hot Toys John Connor is currently delayed because the paint apps on the production heads weren't of a quality HT wanted customers to get so they're doing new heads.

Sometimes it's just the fact that factory workers can't keep up. Most of these collectibles are hand made and hand painted, so sometimes the human factor comes in and things fall behind or too many projects get going at one time and they can't keep up.

Also, while Hot Toys can be more hands on being local, approving of production efforts is a factor. Sideshow is shipped samples of what the product their factory is going to produce will look like made in the thousands, and they go back to the factory with comments whether it's ok or to fix things. If for some reason the factory and the company aren't on the same page regarding how the production pieces should be coming out, that can delay things also. The thousands of production pieces won't be made until a sample of what it will look like meets approval by the company, so the longer it takes for the company to be happy with what the factory's doing, the more delayed production is.

I think they are two different body types wolverine you really cant see the shoulder joints but with the comedian you can and they're very pronounced compared to old wolvie

Sorry but had to quote this. I didn't like the Watchmen movie but this figure is amazing. If I were a fan I'd buy this in a heartbeat!!
