Since I refuse to pay the high prices on eBay. Instead I'll wait for SS to come In Stock and if I have any change I'll pick one up. My perfect display would be all the armour pieces detached and the mech test legs attached. Oh and all of this lying on the table.

Ohhh that table. my precious......

How big is the table? I'm wondering how much room they'll be left on one detolf shelf with it setup?

My ideal setup would be him as he comes out of the box on the lightup stand with all the other bits laid out on the table.

got my processing notice yesterday also,,now in 2 minds on getting this or cancelling... humm....only IM i have is the mk IV,think im happy with just that:dunno

That MK II is the perfect armour to go with the IV. Just you keep that in mind Jutty :)

I spoke with SS yesterday. Mark II Unleashed is suppose to hit their warehouse March 5. Full pay pre-orders have been emailed. Flex-pay pre-orders have not. If you have a flex-pay PO, you need to contact SS and let them know if you want it ahead of the sceduled payments of March 15 and April 15. Otherwise, your 2 payments will be processed and you won't get it until after the final payment mid to late April.

March can't get here quick enough. :impatient: 3 KILLER Hot Toys

Iron Man Mark II Unleashed
1989 Batman
1989 Joker

:yess:

We'll be lucky if Joker hits HK next month tbh, I can see the majority getting him in April/May :gah:

EDIT: Agree with you though I've got Batman, Mark II and Classic Pred all coming in the next 3 weeks :yess:

They are so backloged on stuff April May is packed with so many releases 2 suckerpunch figures, Jake Avatar, Iron man Gantry, 2 Monkey brothers figures and this is asuming that Sam Flyn and Joker are come out in March and are not pushed out further.

Hey dude, wondered as well...took the time to reopen the box and take the table out again. Here you go:

Not sooo overwhelming. :dunno

Thanks for going to the trouble of doing that man and sending me the PM :hi5:

Not enough room for the table and the figure to stand separately then is there (not on the light up stand anyway) :(

EDIT: If you've got a custom Tony Stark like OMG did though he'd look pretty good in the background

Hey guys just got this bad boy in. Here are a few quick pics from my I phone I will try to get some better ones up later.

Nice and congrats!

Now tell us honestly, how is the head sculpt?

haha to be honest, IMO it's complete crap. I'm speaking only of the don cheadle HS of course. Everything else though is amazing. The figure overall just seems much sturdier than the BD mark iii. The details on this guy are very impressive, and the medal shine is much more impressive in person. I've looked at all the pics out there and I really don't feel that any of them have really captured the full awesomeness of this guys paint finish not even OMG's pics. I'm not totally digging the loss of articulation in the legs, but its not that big a deal I guess.

I canceled my PO on this figure 'cause I didn't think they could pull off the chrome. If any more reports come in about how good the surface looks I may cave. Bummer, I was enjoying a two-month respite from shelling out cash to Hot Toys.

Do you already have the first Mk.II release?
That makes holding out a little easier to do if you do have that one, however, there's so much more details with this figure.

For me, the choice is easy.
This will be my first Mk.II. :yess:

The finish on the armor is brushed, and not polished, so it isn't as deep in color or as shiny as it would be if it was polished. It is highly unlikely there will ever be a Hot Toys IM with a brushed finish. It looks significantly more accurate than the first Mark 2 to me.

I'm one of those people who doesn't really care about the finish. Much like the rivets it's just wrong in a different way and the correct way is fairly close to impossible to do in scale.

I'm way more concerned about the proportions which look fantastic. I think I said before but out of all the HT Iron Men Mark IV/VI included it looks the most proportionally accurate.
