Well I hope you guys are wrong. Action figure scalpers piss me off. They make the hobby more difficult for those of us who actually want the figures.

Ya'll forgetting that this is not a SSC SDCC exclusive only. This will be released as an exclusive at 3 other convention shows(4 total).

- San Diego Comic-Con (SDCC)
- Ani-Com & Games Hong Kong (ACG HK)
- Singapore Toy, Game & Comic Convention (STGCC)
- Ani-Com & Games Guangzhou (ACG GZ)

What other past HT exclusives that were released in all 4 convention shows? This will be just like the Guardian Predator and T-1000 Sarah Connor(exclusive to 1 or 2 convention show only?) except there will be a lot more available. So anyone who wants one, will get one. I don't think supply and demand - flipping and scalping will apply well to this one. HT is now a smarter growing business. They don't need to create a buzz with low productions. They know collectors will buy. Popular line = maximize profit, they're going to milk this line with every drop they can get. Just take a look at some of their recent exclusives(SSC and Toy Hunter) still available for anyone who wants one.

This is what I am hoping for!

Are we sure its going to be at all of them, because the pictures are marked with SDCC. I am assuming they are going to he different exclusive figs at other cons, I hope I am wrong to ensure I can get a preorder in.

Yes, this figure will make the rounds just like T-1000 Sarah Connor. It'll show up on Toys2 and other sites as it makes the rounds but I promise you the cheapest you'll find it will be at SSC for US collectors.

I am ok with it going to toys2 if we miss out on SSC I just don't want to pay an outrageous amount on eBay. Makes me wish i was going to comic-con this year again. Picking up the mk III was extemely easy.

It just depends on the overall demand. If everyone and their mother goes after it each day something could happen but that remains to be seen.

So is anyone going after this figure becuase they genuinly like the way it looks and wants to add it to thier collection? Or is everyone just investing in one hoping to sell it for $1000 two years from now?

See i've already got the MK IV & MK VI, and although i like this there are others like War machine, Whiplash, Captain Rex and Barney Ross that i'vebeen eaningto get.

Its just that everyone is going on about this being impossible find that makes it more attractive.

Incidently this is going for £280 on play.com while the MK IV is going for £200 so even the retailers are scalping.

I am. I like it, I dig the overall look and am a fan of Iron Man so the more armors on my shelves the better. I will admit that it isn't the best possible exclusive and I've called it uninspired but I do overall think it's a neat armor to have next to the Mark III GMG. I don't even keep my boxes so selling really isn't an option. I'm in it for the long haul.

I want this thing. I am really new to the HT game so I want to load up my collection as soon as I can. I will not be heartbroken if i dont get it on thursday's sale but I also will not shell out absurd money for it.

I think alot of fans would've prefered a casual tony stark or racing suit tony stark.

The causal could use the MK VI ex gauntlet and the holographic gauntlet, and the racing suit could use the suitcase armour.

I am in it for the figure. I have all the other armors all ready, and this will look great added to the collection.

that makes too much sense for Hot Toys......I'm not ecstatic about the paint since it's almost just like the mark III GM but I do like it....

I am buying it coz I do not have a Mark IV. So this will be my way of getting the Tony head without paying jacked up prices of the original Mark IV....
