Figure is not even out yet and this person wants almost 3x the price

Its as if Scalping has come back from the future to rip people off in advance.


Since when does HT announce quantities? that number is probably an exageration to get biters

Ah, i didnt see the 'S' next to the Dollar symbol and assumed USD, so it works out to $484, still more than double the price, not worth it to me, but to some i'm sure.

And , i do laugh at that one!

Serious? I haven't been watching the value, but I hope they are still selling for that much once I have my preorders in hand! $

I think it is mostly hype and will die down fast; unlike Guardian- who had lots of unique goodies- this is just a gray repaint.

The original paint job on the IV is cooler to me. But the exclusiveness of this figure was tempting, & I don't have the original IV, so this would be a nice alternative Plus, if the value get's high enough, I might be able to use it as trade bait for Hot Toys Blade

One of the more recent examples was the Crain/Demon Bats Anniversary set. There's the Clubber Lang - Exclusive Southside Slugger, Major Alan 'Dutch' Schaefer Exclusive, Predator 2 DB, and a couple of others. So occasionally, it happens.

I didn't know about the edition sizes of some of the figures you mentioned, so I googled a couple.
- Major Alan 'Dutch' SchaeferSideshow Exclusive Edition: LE 550
- Clubber Lang - Exclusive Southside Slugger Edition: LE 500

Definitely not 500 world wide. It is probably 500 at SDCC and another 400 at the HK toyfair. Also have to factor in exhibitions in Taiwan and Singapore which also got the Grey Mark III last year.
