But Ruffalo nailed the "don't test me, I'm dangerous" demeanor... Norton's act was more one-dimensional.

and maybe RDJ would eventually be too old to play the part. he himself said he cant do it forever. so far Marvel Studios hasnt disappointed me with their movies so i have faith they would pick someone worthy of the role

I feel like the hype will die down a lot by then.

There are a lot of great actors that can fit the role as far as looks goes but I don't think anyone can ever hold up to RDJ's personality. Call him what you will as a guy but his personality fits Tony perfectly. He's pretty much established as Tony Stark now. Everyone's accepted it and pretty much everyone loves it.

I think if they hire someone new it will take a while before we can fully accept him as the new Tony Stark. Be a weird transaction.
