For me, i'd have to score it down to 7/10. Again, like you i went in hyped and then came out feeling why did i bother staying awake until 3am in the morning! I take it you watched it last night?

wtf is with the clean slate? tony is gonna make like bruce wayne and quit now? No avengers 2 and IM4?!

And at the end of the ending, theres "tony stark will return" whats that supposed to mean?

They'll label it all as Tony's hallucination and voila, you've got a 'clean slate'. I can already see this

He's a great mechanic, not a doctor. And having a Arc Reactor in his chest is his ego and his obsess with the suit.

They had such a great opportunity to bring in the 10 rings and link to all the cosmic stuff to come, and they completely **** it up. To make the Mandarin a front was terrible. I felt like I was watching James Bond, rather than Iron Man... The suits were just throw away gadgets. WTF you hit Iron Man hard enough the armor falls off now?

Actually I thought the twist about Mandarin was pretty funny, I never expected much of him and didn't think he was cool in anyway so I'm glad with how that turned out, now I like him. But I do agree with you about the armors.. they were like paper. How the suits got destroyed by mere missiles and punches sucked...

Man....that is so lame. I mean he takes blows from Thor and mjolnir, is almost grinded in the helicarrier's turbine blades and yet his suit holds on quite well. So, what happened? Corners cut???

Yeah! I was quite interested to know it's name too. It had illuminated lines at the back.

I think it was a very realistic depiction of a hired gun. I mean it's always weird in other movies when paid henchmen still fight to the death despite being obviously over-powered by the hero. It's not like they have a personal dispute with the hero.

This very thought runs through my mind everytime I see a paid guy/henchmen putting in more effort than the evil guy himself.

And yeah, the movie is a 8/10 or awesome/awesome.

Um I think you've misquoted me there, don't know how that happened. The first Dracula quote is mine though. But yeah, that was my biggest issue with this movie..

I'm still a little bummed we didn't see anything like this.. I know it's not an official picture but damn it would have been awesome seeing them fight side by side.. the scene with Iron Man and War Machine from IM2 is one of my favorite scenes from the series.. oh btw, what happened with War Machine 2.0 and the Deep Space suit, where they ever in the movie? Did I miss them?

I was actually hoping for at least a scene where Rhodey as IP takes on some terrorists while in Afghanistan..but nope they cut corners....

Yeah, he never fought anyone in it.. if I remember correctly. That was disappointing, the diecast IP by Hot Toys isn't that attractive as it was before the movie.. I might just buy it because of how awesome it looks.

Exactly, they might include those weapons (can't quite remember what they were) that popped out of his arm. A missile was it? Man I need to see this movie again, I forget those little details pretty quick... going to see it next week again.

I've never been more disappointed by a movie, except Kingdom of Crystal Skull. Awful, awful experience.
