THANKS for the answer- I'm not looking but I assume there was an explanation

you love DKR as much as me?

No explanation, just my speculation as to.. well, it might be a spoiler if I say they (The Avengers) were absent or not. Just watch the movie! ;)

I do like TDKR but not as much as I do TDK, BB and... John Carter, Prometheus or The Avengers. If that says anything. ;) Why?

Not alot of love for DKR- as it ages it will be better appreciated.....and I think TDK gets just better and better with age...irresistable

Don't get me wrong, it's a 7.5/10. Not a bad movie.. but just some things I would change if I could and it would have been perfect. I do however like it more now than I did last year, might have something to do with how I've brainwashed myself seeing it 15-20 times... and the fact that I'm a big Batman fan.. :lol

Saw it today and enjoyed it a lot. The twists were unexpected and now I can't wait for Thor: The Dark World.

Just watched it a few hours ago, and I've got to say it is probably my favorite of the 3 films

I was not expecting the twist with the Mandarin at all, but I loved it(not to mention he was a Liverpool fan :yess:), I thought Guy Pearce was excellent as Killian, and he was probably my favorite character

Saw this movie earlier. All I can say is I thought it was awful :( Was hoping it'd be awesome...but nope. I'd give it a 3 or 4/10.

Just out of the movie...best of the three in my opinion. The Extremis soldiers are damn scary...I really want a figure of James Badge Dale's Savin. He had a creepy T-1000 edge to him, and the effects the filmmakers used to show the Extremis effects were really well done. This is one occasion where I hope Hot Toys goes and does more figures.

RDJ owns the film. There are some really great action sequences in the film. The attack on the house is fantastic and edited well. The suit effects are used as a story device, not just to look cool, but they do that in spades.

Very clever writing from Black and Pearce. The villains are very memorable in this film. I completely forget about IM2. It's a great example that the third part of a trilogy can be great, something not seen since ROTK.

I'm not going to discuss the Mandarin. Make up your own minds. I'm also not going to discuss any spoilers. My favorite things were Tony and the villains. Damn creepy.

I see a lot of people loving the hell out of it, saying it's the best Marvel film yet and that it is self propelled and doesn't market Avengers or any of the other heroes.

Then I see people that think it's awful, that it doesn't connect to the other Marvel films and isn't "comic accurate".

Makes me want to see it even more. From what I've heard, I don't think I'll be disappointed.

Everyone has an opinion.......
I liked John Carter, Lost in Space(1998) and Avengers (1999 with Connery) and people LOATHE those films!:lol

It's Iron Man. How bad can it actually be?

I like the fact it might be "seperate" from the other Marvel films

What made IM2 a let down was it had too much preoccupation with introducing SHIELD and other story arcs and the entire end battle was very very lame

Yeah, I dunno.

Every review has stated that it's better than Iron Man 2, and that one was a snooze fest for me. So if it's better than 2, I don't think I'll have a problem with it.

I actually think having the story focus on STARK/IRON MAN instead of the "Marvel Universe" is a good thing, but maybe that's just me. :dunno
