Haven't seen the movie yet, so not reading a word in this thread....BUT I did want to drop in and say that the IM3 soundtracks just now became available. Officially on sale 4/30/13 and I was watching the album on Amazon and it just now became available. So apparently midnight EST is when music becomes available.

For some reason I don't see the score showing up on iTunes, only the soundtrack. But Amazon has both.

Enjoy!

Of people who use the internet. I'm not saying its totally representative, just saying its the most. If there is a more representative sample of people who use the internet, please, guide me to it. :wave

Bear in mind the larger the sample size and the more diverse the demographics of people using the site, the more 'representative' it is, from a stats point of view.

Also, IMDB's statement on how it adjusts its ratings:

I remember someone saying that IMDB doesn't count ratings of 1 or 10 as much as the rest.
Don't know if it is true, but some people were making a fuzz about it.
I was also reading how a group of fanboys were abusing the rating system with fake accounts or something. :dunno
:dunno

That is true. Most people rated Pain and Gain a 1 before it even began production.

lol :lol people are jerks.

But, if that is the case then maybe it is true that IMDB doesn't count the 1 or 10 votes?
Which means that they only count votes from 2 to 9?

I have no idea if that is the case or not, but people in there were saying it is.

Anyone else notice Happy's line about replacing the staff with robots and that tony had them stored downstairs?? (something along those lines)

Screams Ultron in the making to me, maybe in Ant-man Tony & Pym modify them......

No. That's not what he meant.
He was talking about
replacing the janitorial staff with robots like Dummy. His line is "Tony has them in his basement, they're wearing party hats, this is an asset that we should use".
When i give you the actual quote, you realise it's the Dummy Robots Happy is talking about...

Idiots do yes. I'll say that with a matter of fact opinion. Pain and Gain was amazing. I don't know why anyone could hate that film.

Cheers, my Ultron love took over and i heard what i wanted then :( thanks for the help

This needs to hurry up and be released in the US, I want to talk about this more openly!

Been thinking about this movie a lot since I saw it...

and I'm starting to like it even more. I like that this movie is largely driven by the Tony Stark character, and not the Iron Man suit. Whilst the movie isnt as action-orientated as the trailers suggest, the action we DO see is exciting and there are plenty of moments to keep even the shortest attention spans entertained.

They way that Tony has panic attacks, PTSD, anxiety etc. are all understandable and realistic character reactions to what he has gone thorugh in Iron Man, Iron Man 2, and Avengers, and I like how he still has the confidence, the quips, the smart-arse remarks, but you genuinely see that he doesnt really want to do this anymore

Overall, I loved this movie, and I'm extremely looking forward to seeing it again on Sunday

Because 250253 users rated Rises a perfect 10. And 6989 users rated it a 1.

More people rated it a 10 then any other rating. A solid 10. That means the film is perfect. In every possible way. That isn't logical. That isn't an opinion. That's a fanboy's rating to boost it up.

:exactly:

However posting a 10 for an "old movie" isn't really fanboy as much as rating a recent superhero movue a perfect 10.

IM2 a mess- but enjoyable and watchable- a GOOD film not a very good or great film. Wasted opportunity

Iron Man 2 or Iron Man 3?

I'm constantly changing the way I view films every day. It's important for what I'd like to do. Everyone sees films differently, and I like to see why.

Agreed i don't think i give the films the same rating as it depends on my mood when watching it. if i like a film and like it again i'll get a high rating but probably not the exact same one.

I never understood personal "ratings" nor have I ever understood other people's desire to obsess over a film's critical reception.

when i was on the IMDB there were comparisons to TDKR which made not sense as it was a last year movie and was DC not Marvel.

and on there and here there was discussion over international weekend gross and expectations it would make a Billion Dollars, but that doesn't mean anything for the quality, just look at Dredd.

I agree. However, when trolls try to portray that 'most people thought movie xx was crap' when that's blatantly untrue from a survey of all the evidence out there, they must be smacked down. :lecture :lol

Hope you don't mean me since this all started when you singled out my post about 12 movies with annoyance that i didn't class Batman Begins as perfect-ish because of internet consensus that TDK is better.

It is. That's why a lot of movies today are successful. TDK had many people coming back multiple times within the first month. I was guilty of it too. I saw it about 5 times. My friend saw it about 7. My other buddies probably saw it 2-3 times each.

Same thing happened with Avatar.
