Well, we will have to agree to disagree. The trailers sold me exactly what I got when I saw it last weekend.
The best thing about this was it was 100% Tony Stark/Iron Man. It disn't compromise or force Avenger business into it

Well, after my 3rd viewing, wife and I enjoyed it even more.
I was much more tolerant of Wolverine mixed with Smaug mixed with Captain America.
I still would've preferred more info leading to Avengers 2.
Yeah, like how Tony Stark spends half the movie hanging out and talking to some kid. Trailer totally prepared me for that.
I feel pretty much the same. I didn't feel the like the trailer was a bait and hook trick. Not as far as tone or style.
And I agree that it's better that the trailer not give everything away. It teased enough for me to be excited about the movie, and it delivered all that plus some unexpected surprises. Which is a good thing.
But that's why people disliked IM2.

And yet nothing in the movie about the rings. Man, they should have gone with that. It could have tied in with Thor perfectly.
Thor proved what humans thought was magic was really science.
Rings should've been used.
Saw this on CBM
