I wish I knew what that cannon on his shoulder shoots. I'm hoping laser blasts.

Fanboy tears.

As for the post-credit sequence... I thought it was great. I was sad they didn't do something to build up to Avengers 2. I wonder if we'll get more of that with Thor and Cap? I'd certainly think Cap might do something along those lines. But I thought it was a fun little scene. And it explained the narration, which I really liked. As I'm not a huge fan of narration to the audience.

Like when Stark drove off and left the little boy in the middle of the road and they had to cut back to the kid for his lame line just so we know that his feelings weren't hurt by Stark. :(

"I had to try"

Why would he say that out loud other than to show us that a kids feelings were not hurt in the making of this movie.

Ughhhh

He fires it in the prelude comic. It kind of looked like bullets.

Which is a little stupid... War Machine Mark 1 had a very obvious projectile weapon, we could see the ammo belt :p
and he atleast he some bulk in the back of the suit to house some ammo.

this one doesn't have any visible ammunition, features a lazer warning decal on the underside of the cannon and has a odd looking barrel.

That's a shame. I do like lasers.

Here's the panel and the next panel showing the projectiles hitting. Given this is a comic and you never can tell. Could just be yellow lasers :lol

Also no one is going to pay this comic any mind later on anyway so we could still get lasers :yess:

Yeah, it looks like your standard comic book machine gun fire to me. I didn't even realize that he has some kind of gun on his wrist area when I watched the movie and looked at the Hot Toys pics.

Come on Jye, can't you see he's going "blam blam blam"... irrefutable evidence he's shooting...duuuuh.

While we're on the subject of IP.

Why did he just lay down and take it when the extremis female grabbed him in that clothing factory shack.

Then he just allowed the henchmen to carry him away, all the way back to the united states, wut?

Extremis dude grabbed Stark on the plane and Stark blew a hole thru him.

IP sucked.

Yeah why did he shut down? Is there some weakness that they knew to exploit they forgot to explain?

Also Jye, you've seen it more than me, was AIM involved in the program or something with IP? I thought I remembered something like that.

AIM did the rebranding of War Machine in IP. But the bit where the Extremis soldier takes him down by just fusing his arm or whatever didn't make much sense to me. Unless it triggered some kind of hidden code. But that seems odd.

Yeah, it's a very "wut?...." moment. I just kind of rolled with it when I first saw it...but now...

The main villain usually is the mastermind of the whole operation so in TDKR that would be Talia. However, without bane to carry out the plan she wouldn't have gotten very far. It was bane who did everything and broke Batman's back and put him out of commission and allowed the plan to be carried out. We can't really say for sure if Talia could have executed her plan without bane. They needed each other so its almost as if they are co-villians (Talia as the brain and bane the brawn). Neither could have done it on their own.

Bane was nothing like the comic at all. So must mean epic fail?
Because the Mandy wasn't either?
Also, Batman was barely in the movie. It was mostly a crippled guy and a guy in a prison who magically fixes his back hanging from a rope.
So epic fails all around then?

Thank god Star Trek comes out soon....
