No spoiler please. Was there a lot of action or all talk? Some reviewer here said it was boring with no ironman much at all. He also said it was very slow and when the audience was done people seems quite and no too please. I really hated the second one so what's your thoughts on this compared to the second one? Without giving the movie away please. Thanks :)

I guess there is alot of action, but not alot of Ironman. Was better than the second for sure, but by how much depends on you.

Yeah, that scene is pretty cool, too. And I agree on WM's guns. I still remember the SDCC preview footage the year before and how badass that was.

I like how they use "oil" in place of blood as well. Neat idea.

Too bad the scene is so brief. And too bad we didn't get any scenes in IM3 of IM/WM tag teaming some bad guys :(

It was and still is awesome, like you said, great for a home theater.

Shame nothing like that in an expanded manner in IM3.

How could Marvel not know fans wanted to see a big IM/IP (or WM) team up battle. :slap

Anybody else think we should of gotten like crimson dynamo or something like that? Have like two iron men duking it out in the sky?/

What, you're not happy with all the scenes of Rhodey running around with his jeans swinging around like tarzan.

Rhodey decided to be a hero while in jeans and tshirt, but while inside the IP armor he just allowed baddies to take him down.

I hope we eventually see the effects from IM2 of other country's governments developing suits. He said most were about 5-10 years away. If we get IM4 they should do something like China getting a bunch of their own suits. Iron Man vs a dozen Whiplashes.

Yeah, not very cool.

The Thor one I think is my favorite.

Still confused over the Thor post credits one. Or should i say how the Avengers messed with it.

Loki was on Earth after letting go of Thor, but he was invisible or in the mind of Selvig, then in Avengers he's somehow off in deep spcae and working for Thanos

 :dunno

I wish I knew what that cannon on his shoulder shoots. I'm hoping laser blasts.

Me too, i pictured laser blasts

I believe they assimilated Crimson Dynamo into Whiplash.

Iron Man hasn't exaclty got alot of Villains to exploit and yet they're shortening that by merging villains like Whiplash/Dynamo and Killian/Mandarin :dunno

Bane was nothing like the comic at all. So must mean epic fail?
Because the Mandy wasn't either?
Also, Batman was barely in the movie. It was mostly a crippled guy and a guy in a prison who magically fixes his back hanging from a rope.
So epic fails all around then?

Thank god Star Trek comes out soon....

While I have some issue with TDKR I never felt that Batman was not in it enough. I bet he has at least as much screen time as TDK and more then BB.

However I think Bruce Wayne himself might be in it less. That is the great thing about TDK series. They Bruce so well that it felt like Batman was on the screen even when he was not dressed up as the Bat.

While I am not in love with what they did with Bane I did not mind it. Now had he taken off his mask and told bathroom jokes and was a buffoon then I would have been pretty upset. More then I was at IM3 but I have more invested in TDK films and comics then I do IM.

I hated the Talia twist though. Saw it coming from the start and her character was about as exciting as Killians.

I assumed that Loki influenced Selvig and maybe maneuvered him into setting up the cube in the SHIELD base to allow him to be transported there.

It doesn't seem like, between Loki and Thanos, that there would be too much difficulty in getting Loki wherever he wanted to be. But by using the cosmic cube for transportation, it put Loki right in the middle of the base, bypassing all the security.

That's the only thing that really made sense of that.

He was either sent to earth already to spy on the tesseract then report back or he did this on his own, never really explained.

It was there just to show his whereabouts after falling into the cosmos and also show that the tesseract would be the important plot for Avengers.

But it's left to our interpretation if he's actually controlling Selvig, just spying on Selvig or he's really Selvig and his true form is shown in the reflection.
