a lot felt like Rises. the Trailer I mean the story might not be but this trailer felt like watching the trailer for Rises. Even the bad guy reminded me of Bane a little, the destruction of his home, Iron Man all beat up in the beginning, it really felt this would be just like Rises

Sentient Armor?? Could just be a nightmare since he talks about having them in the trailer, but it'd be awesome to include that arc.

It has to be a dream. there is no way that was real,

One of Mandarin's rings has the power to augment his pyschic energy so he's able to mentally control another person.

IM3 uses elements of the Extremis comic series and in that Tony creates a suit of armor that's controlled by his thoughts and that partially stores in the hollow areas of his bones.

So it's not too much of a stretch to imagine that Mandarin uses his power to give someone else access to that armor or just remote control the suit without anyone being in it.

Agreed, the shade of gold and overuse of it look horrible but the movie looks great an I'm glad the story will deal with the affects of events in Avengers as well.

Trailer didn't do it for me. Certain things I'm excited about but overall I get a sort of typical facing inner demons vibe, world crumbling thing, it's too much like TDKR rather then the fun superhero I've come to enjoy with Iron Man. Pepper gets kidnapped, his homes destroyed, names disgraced again, it all feels pretty standard comic book bioler plate. I'd rather see Demon in a Bottle and a little more subtly from Mandarin rather then him giving a press conferance about how he's going to take Tony down and blow up his home in broad daylight but IM is my favorite comic book series atm so I'll still give this a chance. My concern is simply that too much of a departure in style and tone will make it feel a bit disjointed from 1 and 2 but who knows maybe thats what it needs.

I think I'll end up liking this suit. It doesn't look so horrible in action and I like how different it is from the others. The other suits (apart from Mk1, Mk2, and Mk5) all feel too similar.

This looks leaps and bounds better than IM2! Can't wait to see it.

I'm glad it looks radically different from the fun/light spirited tone of the previous two movies and the character in general, it makes things a hell of a lot more interesting.

I trust Shane Black, plus Guy Pearce and Ben Kinsgley.

Suit looks awesome! I love it The trailer makes me feel like this could be avengers good which IMO would be fantastic. I've loved the direction and tone since the footage I saw at comic-con and while seeming serious I do expect the typical tony humor.

Love the trailer. Kind of not fond of the mustard color too. I like the new WM/Iron Patriot. Can't stand these trailers way to early for me since I am dying to see the movie...
