Iron Man Movie Action Figures/Toys

$10 for the 6" figures.

I bought a Silver Centurion, Mark II, and two War Machines (one to open).
They're all great but each have a few issues. I only opened the Mark II and WM, Mark II has a really lose left shoulder joint and WM has one lose shoulder armor Pauldron.
I've been thinking about what to do about the Mark II, maybe buy a second one and return the first for my money back.

WM was a really Bi-tch to find. I kept calling Wallmarts looking for a War Machine and the only one that got the IM figures in said they didn't have that one. Since I heard that most Wallmarts only have WM and none of the others, I called back got a different guy and he said they only have the Stealth Operations Suit, looked at the back of Centurion and sure enough that's what WM is called.

So make sure to ask for the Stealth Operations Suit when calling. I think they didn't want to use the term War in the title to be PC or something.

I've seen all but the Mark I Iron Man, passed on Iron Monger for the second version that's coming.
I actually like these more then Toy Biz's Iron Man figures, they're all better proportioned and can mix in with the Toy Biz figures.

I'm very disappointed in the 12" Repulsor Iron Man, his articulation blows chunks. I hope they release another 12" version with the same artic as the 6" figures. Oh well, at least the paint job is nice and shiny.

no s*** this is the only decent pose I could get him in. Every other pose looks stiff and stupid.

Please, Some high end 1/6 company ( Medicom) Make an awesome Movie Iron man, and save us from crappy 1/6ers like this!!

I figured I would start a new thread to keep the Iron Man movie thread just about the movie/news and this one to focus on the action figures/toys, etc. unless the Mods choose to combine them.

So.....

My Iron Man movie figures!

The 12"er kinds sucks articulation wise but looks good in that one pose.

The rest of the figures rock even if they are mostly just repaints and look good displayed with each other.

If there are requests, I will put some individual pictures up as well.

I like that pic. Sometimes, as a collector, its nice to buy just toys and play with them instead of those elitists statues that you cant touch too much.

Nope not yet. He's in the second wave with the opening cockpit Iron Monger.

i picked up every single one i could find today and was able to grab all of them at a tru, walmart, and target. even the 12''. and yes it blows compared to high end 1/6th scale stuff (or any end really) but it is a great toy. my son loves it and it's kind of refreshing to see a toy actually played with instead of just 'admired'. anyway just my .02. these figures rock. now if they just made one that played iron man by sabbath at the push of a button. so far i think the mk II is my favorite. it has very simple paint apps but the blue eyes and silver/grey two tone body with a few yellow accents thrown in looks great.

Ah well, to each his own, but maybe you'll get the urge to re-buy a MkIII or something after the movie hits.

Well you would be assuming incorrectly. I don't buy things to scalp them on eBay.

I bought them because after multiple trips to Target looking for the DCUC2 figures, I was tired of leaving empty handed. I walked past those IM toys and the shiney, pretty figures jumped right into my cart! So...I made an impulse buy. I've got some pricey preorders that are about to ship so I decided to take the $100 of IM toys that I bought back for a refund. It's not that different from ordering from Sideshow, only to cancel later.

I bought the 1/6 which I actually like even though I'm dying for a high end one. The Mk III which is equally cool and the Tony Stark which I regret. I considered going ball out to get every one but in end decided to leave the Silver Centurion inspired one at Target and hunt down just the Mk II and Mk I.....might get War Machine if he is easily found though.

On a side note picked up a "snap kit" on the Mach 5 from the Speed Racer film....excited and worried about that one too.

love the mk 3 and War Machine I have. Can't find anyone else but really only want mk 2 and mk 1. there's a better Iron Monger coming.
