I don't know, I haven't touched it (and of course I keep it out of the sunlight and in a cool place)

Maybe it it due to my bad camera - in hand it looks a little darker, but not the same black as the cloth underneath
That might be it. Looks like you got the solid resin head too and not the resin with rubber cowl. I like it.

Just want to post a couple cell phone picture of my received Keaton Batman …he is really great. 
The cape material is different on Figurefreaks' Batman. Looks like it hangs a bit better than what I've got too.

i thought the same thing - cape looks like a much heavier material. either that or its cause he's doubled it over and posed it really well.
The grain pattern is different too. Not the pebble pattern mine has. Shawn must have found a different source.

This material is actually much thinner. It's the stuff I'm using for the Crow coats, with the cloth backing removed.
Maz, your's should have the same cape. I think I've done three with the stuff, the thre most recently shipped. Your's was one of those.

seriously? wow, thanks, pretty stoked about that. i really should take the dude out of his launfry sheet shoe box prison and put him on display. i've been away from home for a few months so he's not with me. really want to take a closer look at this fig now. i miss it.

BTW, just put up my HT Batman Begins figure (the new version) and he looks fantastic next to Shawn's; really a testament to how great his custom is that it looks perfect standing next to what is probably the best figure released this year! Great work Shawn

Shawn's new Keaton Sculpt...
A couple of tweaks. Made the eyes smaller. Altered the mouth/chin area and made the cheeks a bit more full.
