DA repainted his, but has thusfar not shared any pics. I've left mine alone....for now.

Not quite....

He's awaiting repaint at the moment. Just far too busy with work to get any of my own stuff done. Hicks was a guilty pleasure...

I should be able to get back to work on Legolas and Boromir in a few weeks once I get done with a large commission.

I put these up in my customs thread, but I forgot to put them in here. These are just some sneak peek photos of where I'm at with Leggy. If things don't look right to you, or look unfinished... it's because it is unfinished

So far I've:

• reshaped the chin.... about a hundred times
• ....and the jawline
• ...and his cheeks/cheekbones
• and his upper lip
• i've made his nose smaller (why do all SS figures have such oversized noses?)
• I've changed the shape of his forehead, and moved his hairline
• changed and angle and placement of his eyebrows
• added some extra wisps of hair behind his ears

....and I've just cut off both his ears, lol. They stuck out way too far so I wanted them flatter against his head. I'm working on that as we speak.

God I hope this all works out after all this, lol

Not much new here... Just spent a few more hours on Leggy (extra hair details, cheeks, nose, forehead) between Anakin repaints and some other things. Once it was dried hard I quickly drew on some eyes and eyebrows with a pencil I had lying round.... just to try and see if I've got it right so far

(ignore the fact that the eyes are wonky.... they were drawn on in 10 seconds with an old pencil! ) this was just for me to see if I'm going in the right direction

Looking good, but to be honest I liked the look of your previous pictures better. His ear looks kinda strangely shaped, though maybe it's just the angle of the photo. And I can't really tell from the pics but did you ditch his furrowed brow and just made it a smooth forehead? I can't wait to see this guy painted & hopefully you'll sell some castings.
