That's good that they still refer to him as James howlett sometimes in the movies. The origin book was a great story it shouldn't be retconned cause one movie.

Logan made me revisit The Wolverine and that was actually a nice revisit.

But ain't no way in hell am I revisiting Origins, not even Logan could make that happen.

Origins is too vanilla and cheesy but there's no funny-noise-making Lex Luthor or anything. I'm not recommending a re-watch, but it's not the unwatchable ****-show the netz make it out to be. Just a garden variety crap movie. :lol

I watch Origins about once a year... What? The TV plays it all the time (no moneyz for nu filmz), I'm bound to have it as background noise at least once...

Ok screw it i'll watch it.

Liev Schreiber was excellent in Origins. Hopefully he gets his due via Wolvie's extended cameo in DP2.

:lol :lol :lol

Snik loves to bait with his DP2 cameo traps lol

Just going by what Reynolds has said, which is that it'd be a thing where Wade runs into Wolvie while he's doing "superhero things" and things kinda go from there.

Fighting a supervillain like Sabretooth falls under "superhero things".

When it doesn't happen, we all get to haze SNIKT and beat him up.

I call dibs on his shoes.

Nah no more wolverine for awhile. He's dead. Let the man sleep.

Then xmen will go to Disney and you'll have the biggest meltdown ever.

I think it would be a terrible idea for audiences to say farewell Jackman's Wolverine after 17 years only to have him turn up in a goofy comedy the very next year.

I thought The Wolverine was good, it has the same filmmaking style, themes (especially about death, like Jye and Batfan mentioned) and beats running through out it that are in Logan. It makes sense because The Wolverine and Logan both have James Mangold, Hugh Jackman, Scott Frank, and Michael McCusker behind it. You can see the direction that they were going in and what they were going for once you get to Logan.

It's that third act of The Wolverine everything takes a dip. All that goofy ****, the lame use of CGI, Silver Samurai, it just isn't as good as it was earlier.

The sad part is I think Snik is probably right on most accounts especially if Logan beats Kong at the box office this coming weekend Fox wil immediately think that it was the DP/Logan combo.

They'll be throwing a ton of money towards Jackman and Stewarts resurrection!

Seriously, if Logan beats Kong, watch out because here comes Fury Logan and Professor X again.
