And that ladies and gentlemen is why studios don't care about the funny books.

and.....

you lost me. :lol

Eh, there are weirder stuff out there. Transmetropolitan has more weird images and concepts than a Lynch film. Like that group of folks who believed they were half men half aliens, and modified their gentic make-up to adopt another image and gender. The Aliens had sold the code on the black market for fuel or something ridiculous. The Authority had Midnighter sodomize a guy with jackhammer, while in his solo he saved kid Hitler and had an open heart surgery without anesthesia.

...You know, when you type that stuff, they sound... filthy...

What makes that X2 sequence fantastic for me is that it perfectly captures Wolverine's berserker rage. I remember people cheering opening night back in '03 after every kill.

I realize that I'm in the minority with regard to Wolverine's mansion rampage so I won't belabor the issue. Suffice to say that I loved the ominous helicopter approach and Iceman cowering behind the counter but felt let down by the rest. I want to be excited for Logan because most of the trailer looks great but I'm shocked that they "went there" with him charging the camerman *again* and then floating like Peter Pan toward his enemies. The best lunge he ever did was the slo-mo leap into Sabretooth's chest at the end of X1 since it actually looked like a guy really doing that with his own strength.

good call. :lol

agreed, though it has nothing on that god awful scene in Cap: TFA where Cap launches about 100 feet of a tank.

they even made the tank bigger in the second shot, such a weird scene.

They were in TWS, albeit only briefly. But yeah, a period piece with Cap could've been truly great, but... yeah. TFA was such a missed opportunity. I still like it, but...

Its a shame because it looked fantastic in that first trailer.

Once I saw the second trailer with the Tool song and the awful green screen action I began to have doubts.
