It's those moments in the trailer that has me the most excited for this film's potential.

This post makes me realize how much Fox has ****** up the X-Men franchise.

You think that's crazy? Check this out, it's 2023 at the very end of DOFP, everyone is alive and well and Xavier is solid. A year later in "Logan" (film), everyone is dead and Xavier has dementia.

The more I think about it, the better it gets.

Then there is the "current " Michael Fassbender First Class (1963) - DOFP (1973) timeline which continues in Apocalypse (1983) which also has Wolverine escaping the weapon X experiment. That Wolverine's future is yet to be written...unless his fate is the same as the 2024 Logan.

HYDRA-Cap has only one thing on his mind: Control. The guy set-up Banner's death, tried to murder Ulysses, orchestrated events so that there would be an even bigger rift between the heroes, knocked Jack Flag out of a plane, massacred Red Ghost and his apes, and he's currently trying to mentally and emotionally break Sam. It's also been implied that he had a hand in Bucky being imprissoned again.

I've said it before, and I'll say it again: HYDRA-Cap is the best villainous mastermind in comics, hands down.
