There's ALOT that can go wrong. Where did the island move to, who is still alive, the purpose of the island. I think next season will be the six trying to return as we learn more about the island.

There's plenty of ways for the island to show it's displeasure. There could be a typhoon, flooding, droughts, locusts, frogs, water turning to blood...

So it's weird that the Island wouldn't let Michael die until he did his part in helping the Six leave the island, but now the Island seems to want them back. You know how fickle islands can be...

The island must be female.:monkey5:monkey5:monkey5

Well Ben said, "Destiny can be a fickle ^^^^^." Maybe the island's name is Destiny.

And if that is the case. Then the last season would be them basically getting back off the island but with whoever is left alive....hell the show might not even end with people going back home. They might stay on the island.

It will be very interesting to see where the island decided to move to????
Maybe the island is the Bermuda Triangle :D

I can certainly see a couple of people staying on the island. Jack & Kate maybe? But I don't think the island will be the same place. I've got a feeling it's "magic" will be lost and the island will be doomed by the end of the series.

I assume Bernard and Rose are still on the Island along with Miles, Charlotte, Faraday, Sawyer, Juliet. Am i missing anyone......? :monkey3

Locke & The Others natch.

But at the end of the series I don't see many people staying on the island. They'll either die or be forced to leave is my guess.

That seems a sad way for Lost too ultimately finish. I mean the Island is so special to some people it is a home to the Others, the remaining survivors of 815 and if someone like Rose leaves she will probably die because her cancer will come back :monkey2

Yup. Aside from the Desmond/Penny story (The Odyssey), the series will end on a melancholy note I think, mirroring the lost of magic in both Shakespeare's The Tempest and the 50s scifi version Forbidden Planet.

The Locke story seems doomed as does Ben's and Widmore's. Rose and Bernard might have some sweet, sad ending like dying in each others arms or her accepting her illness and leaving the island. Still not sure how the Jack/Kate/Sawyer thing will play out with a "happy" ending or not, but if Desmond dies and doesn't end up with Penny I will be pissed. I'm worried now that he's reunited with her... things can only get worse for the both of them at this point.

I will be super pissed if Desmond dies too :monkey4 .I mean Locke, Desmond, Jin and Sawyer are my favorite characters, Locke is dead, Jin's fate unclear and Desmond and Sawyer have an unseeable future so heres hopping to at least three of them live

Correct me if im wrong guys but i'm starting to smell a SOPRANOS ending. Left with answers to be given.:(

Well, of course there will be unanswered questions, as they have already told us they will not be talking about the numbers. I'm sure other things will be left unanswered as well.

But if they pull a complete Sopranos ending, I will be hunting down Damon Lindelof and a few other people to kill them slowly!!!!! VERY SLOWLY!!!
