It's going to be really annoying watching the split screen with both color timed versions playing simultaneously. I wish they had just gone with one or the other, so my eyes could adjust within the first ten seconds and I wouldn't think twice and just sit back and enjoy the motion picture. But having to constantly compare the whiter to greener images as they play alongside each other is going to be really distracting. Thankfully, all of the nitpickers have provided side by side comparisons so I can see exactly what it will look like when I repeatedly pause the Blu-ray and look at both versions simultaneously displayed together on the same TV screen. I mean, that's how I enjoy a movie on a Saturday night--am I the only one?

I thought I was the only one. :lol

I'll be grabbing this for sure and have been hanging for it big time.:yess: I will still wait a bit to see if there is an announcement confirming whether the studios have stuffed up plus they are charging way more down here than what most of you guys will paying.

Some are saying the green tint is all through the film(people that have it) whilst others are saying only in certain scenes. Whatever the case it ____s on the Blu LOTR TE release and is the best there is so i look forward to having my all time favourites sitting in my Blu collection.:)

Anybody else order this from the WBshop.com? (And no, I'm not gonna look back through almost 250 posts!) Is it still going to ship next week?

According to Barnes & Noble...it is still slated to ship on 28 Jun...and with the 50% off coupon, this was a no brainer.

Yeah, I almost wished I had ordered it there, but I wanted the exclusive photo set from the WBshop.

So you're saying the reviewers talking about this issue didn't actually watch the bd's?

I have no idea and I really don't care. The only review I'm interested in is the one I will do for myself once I watch them personally.

Have you checked on your order? I tried mine online but my order # doesn't come up.:impatient:

My order number isn't recognized either doesn't show up either...will have to call tomorrow.

But they DID charge my card when I ordered back on 1 April.

Uh oh...that doesn't look good for me then! Did you purchase in STORE or online? I used the SAME coupon for Star Wars Blu-Ray as well and that order DOES NOT show up either...so perhaps something with ordering in store and having shipped to home or something.

Got my fingers crossed anyways!

I ordered both LOTR EE and SW separately in store with the 50% coupons and did the 'ship to home' thing. Both of my order numbers work online.
