Now that I stop and think about it, her skull is probably too thick for a 12 gauge to have any effect. :lol

That's not even her final form, silly boy.

Behold her final form.

BB/TDK

TWS/CW

OT/RO

Winning combos right there.

Yes this is where all geeks should agree regardless of their own personal biases. All DC fans should concede that the Cap trilogy is great and all MCU fans should concede that the Nolan trilogy (give or take TDKR) is great. Everyone should acknowledge the awesomeness of the OT and RO. When I see fellow Marvel fans bashing Nolan I think they're just as crazy as people who bash RO, lol.

Disagreeing on/hating the rest of the MCU, DCEU, TFA/TLJ, etc., is fine but those films above are about as objectively awesome as you can get. :lecture

You and Jye have to cool your Jets on TFA :). That suffers from some of the same issues as BP in that the action is average at best and the CGI is cringe worthy at the end of the film.

Just from a film making standpoint TFA is not the same caliber as BB, TDK, TWS, and CW.

The first hour is good though.. But it falls apart at the end IMO.

IMHO anyways :)

Best thing I can say about Black Panther is that it cause Snikt to bring up Venom which then made him bring up Drive. I had only watched that film once and thought it was good but not as great as many had been saying.. But because of this thread I watched it again.

Its great.

Eh, if ROTJ gets a pass when discussing the OT then I see no problem in allowing The First Avenger to make the cut. :) It had a great cast, one of the MCU's only noteworthy scores, the awesome Star-Spangled Man montage, and a great finale on Skull's plane.

I have yet to watch Drive lol

It’s got Kevin Spacey though so no thanks, easy pass.

Regarding First Avenger the Star Spangled Man scene alone makes it worthy of inclusion.

There are some really cool scenes in that movie I love his costume, his foot chase after the Thorin Oakenshield actor, the start of Bucky, the train wire, Cap on cool motorcycle, Red Skull, Cap flying that small propeller plane chopping up that hydra soldier, Peggy, Red Skull end battle.

Hell I think it puts BP action to shame really.

Yeah the movie has pacing problems but so does TDK and most grand parents lol

Easily one of the most underrated in the MCU, it puts CW to shame in terms of structure. ;)

Plus Red Skull gets overlooked as one of the better villains big time.

I love First Avenger but yeah I agree with jye that it can't match either Russo flick. But lest you think that jye and I agree on everything watch this:

First Avenger > The Avengers

;)

Holy crap perfect lol
