Weather Mayweather was to win or lose to manyy or whoever, he is a truly great boxer, great athlete.
I didnt like what i saw the other night mainly because he didnt need to do it.
It was cheap and unsportsmanship. To go through the whole 2 to 3 month training camp to win/ lose like that was poor.
I also dont like the whole cheap, stupid trash talk.
Having said that, he really is a great boxer and imo technically the best there is. But Manny is in such great shape and so dangerous, he could beat him. I just hope Khan backs off as there is no way he could beat floyd at his stage right now.
floyd grow some balls. Manny agree to the test and lets get it on.
Please

Yea, he is a great boxer, but he hasn't even faced anyone close to what Manny presents. I do believe Manny will overwhelm him with speed and punch output. Fairweather beats his opponents, but Manny destroys his. I don't think I've ever seen a more classless big time athlete in my life, he's even worse than TO. He could go 100-0, if he doesn't fight Manny, he will always be remembered for that.

Any respect I had for mayweather ended with that sucker punch.

So when he beat the crap out of his family members, that didn't do anything for ya huh? :dunno

:exactly::goodpost: Manny is like a little mike tyson in that there is a lot of power behind his punch. I don't blame floyd I guess, I'd be scared to fight him too. :lol

your right. It was illegal. I forgot the point deduction.

Even though what Fairweather did was real classless, Ortiz shouldn't have been trying to make out with him after he apologized twice before that, and that headbutt was so on purpose :lol. Just a :slap moment for him.

Mayweather took the easy way out, but what was bizarre is that Ortiz still didn't look Mayweather's direction after the first hit, and he never once acted as if anything was out of the ordinary after the fact. His corner didn't react either. The whole situation was bizarre. Almost like he just thew the fight.

Unfortunately, A moment he'll remember for the rest of his life. Never give an opportunist the opportunity. Floyd saw his chance and siezed it with no regrets.

I'm completely with Mayweather on this one. May was completely outclassing Ortiz for 3 rounds..The thug wannabe Ortiz tried a jumping headbutt (only way he had a chance to do any damage) in order to deliberately hurt May illegally. What Floyd did can be considered "cheap" but was 100% legal..."protect yourself at all times" is boxing cardinal rule..Ortiz looked at the referee after then first left hooks
Ortiz got exactly what he deserves for being a dirty and retarded fighter

They are just so different but so brilliant for their own reasons. Manny has been awesome for a long time now usually knocking out his oppenents. floyd on the other hand usually out boxes his oppenents over the distance. Iv not seen anyone better at making someone miss than floyd. what impresses me with floyd is his ability to not even box for 2 years to then fight boxers on top of their game and make them look pretty ordinary.
Freddie roach believes he took the Ortiz fight as a warm up for Manny. I really hope so.
If Manny can catch him I think floyds O might go. I just think floyd will make him miss and catch him. I also think floyd would have to be more aggressive and stop Manny as over 12 rounds, Manny will find an opening. Would be a cracker

are you guys sure that this is happening? did anyone watch the ortiz post fight conference where gayweather in his delusional state was blabbering his mouth again making up excuses.

he got pissed while being interviewed by larry merchant and was adamant to say that ortiz can have his rematch. so that means his gonna fight ortiz first for a rematch before a pacman fight could actually happen

Pacquiao is supposed to fight Juan Manuel Marquez in November. So there's plenty of time for Mayweather to rematch Ortiz (or fight someone else) before a fight with Pacquiao. If it ever happens.

Never know, Pacquiao could lose to Marquez (or whoever he ends up fighting).
