I beg to disagree that Manny has a massive ego. He is very down-to-earth, and his colleagues & former opponents can attest to that. Pick up the TIME Magazine where he was featured, and learn about him not just a boxer but as a person:

He should never be mentioned with the likes of Floyd Gayfeather. He's all talk and a shallow soul. It's not Manny's fault to be the best pound-for-pound fighter in the world while being a rolemodel. Not all big-buck earners have tails & two horns.
As for the fight, it's really a disadvantage to have blood taken from you 2 days before the fight. That has never been done, hence the possibilities are endless as to the adverse effects of the test. It's good that Mayweather wants to do the blood-test, but that's actually to his advantage because he's bigger-built and probably has more blood volume to shed.
Look, I'm not going to change your mind about Pac. He's a homegrown fighter from your native Phillipines and you are clearly a fan of the boxer (and I'm going to respect that). It's just Pac is clearly ducking something and he's making too many excuses at this point about the blood test.
At different points, he said that he can't take blood tests because of his beliefs and superstitions. At another point, his trainer made the same remarks that there would be adverse effects of the test. Then Pac changes his mind and says that he's willing to take the test only on certain dates before the fight (and is willing to take a test afterwards). This clearly leaves a timetable open for cheating if scheduling is involved in this type of testing. The blood test that they want to perform is the same that are given to olympic athletes. It just throws a red flag at me that he's ducking this test and is repelling allegations by concocting a lawsuit for defamation. In the end, I really don't think either boxer wants this fight.
