Konami owns the right to Metal Gear, no way around the fact that more games WILL be made. In fact, they don't even need his consent to even make one (the two NES games).

Even if his screenplay wasn't as good as something Kojima would write, I'd take Hayter's in a SECOND! over the dumpster juice this ****ing turd is going to write.

Yeah, now that Kojima is gone this is no longer about the story itself, the movie will be about driving as many nerds and wannabe nerds into the theater as possible by marketing the movie as based on "one of the greatest franchises of all time", it will be a producer movie, so sad.

Hayter would have at least written something from the heart and with the ultimate fanboy knowledge and it would have been GOOD, c'mon he's got the perfect resume for it.

He knows too many inside niche subtle things about the series, and would throw in so much stuff that only true fans would understand. But no, we gotta settle for a production quality lower than Uwe Boll.
