Oh man, no kidding. In MGS 3, each individual blade of grass moved so organically when you were crawling through it. You could get bit by snakes, and or get rammed by a goat. In this game, the goats run away.
It's so funny, but for a 10 year old game, MGS 3 just feels a lot more realistic. And not to mention, a heck of a lot more authentic for its historical setting in the Cold War. There wren't any advanced Metal Gears, just the Shagohod - which was basically just a heavily armored tank with rocket propulsion.
