I've been thinking, it's kind of a bummer that Big Boss' time in the games ended like this. It would've been cool if we were treated to a storyline about Foxhound and Outer Heaven. But, instead, we got two games (PW and TPP) that revolved around irrelevant private armies: MSF and then Diamond Dogs. Then finally, the Outer Heaven logo shows up on screen after Mission 46, but it ends there, and there's nothing else.

So, Big Boss left to build Outer Heaven after the hospital scene? THAT's something I'd want to see and experience. Not a story about his "phantom".
And PW focused on him still being hung up on the boss with a repeat of MGS3 thrown in as well. There's a lot they could have done, I was hoping to see something about Outer Heaven, and his fight/fall out with Zero

Another video calling out on Kojima's crap. "Antithesis" to excessively exposed characters from past fighting games" my butt. At least those sexy character don't hide behind hypocrisy.

Nothing about her story makes sense, either. Absolutely nothing. She could've gotten pen and paper at any time to warn them about the infection on Mother Base. She and Pequod's pilot would've been experienced in Morse Code from their training (especially during the Cold War, of all times), and they could've communicated though beeping. In fact, she didn't even have to speak English like she did.

Also, how the hell does she even fall in love with Venom Snake, when she was locked in her cell for most of the time, and only came out for missions? Even before that, she was trying to kill Medic Snake back in at the hospital, and was badly burnt because of him and Big Boss... and she doesn't even blame him for that?

I look at Quiet as nothing more than a nonsense character, that was only included for Kojima's fetishizing of female cosplayers. Her storyline is just rubbish. Although, she's a good buddy, and I'm starting to miss her on the tougher missions.

I wonder how Stefanie Joosten felt, that they put her face on a sexier woman's body. I remember for MGS 4, they used the full body sculpts and facial scans of the B&B models. Didn't Kojima like Stefanie, or did he want more junk in the trunk? :lol.

I unlocked the maxed out Stealth Camo last night, makes side ops retardedly easy.

It's too bad you can't use it for main missions for S-Ranks, though.

He probably wishes he could of given her a peen.

After digesting the game further, there's no reason the second chapter to be called "Race." There's no racial themes, or taboo themes to be found anywhere in the game. I don't know where we were supposed to be so shocked and awed in this. Sure the quarantine section is bloody, but it's been done twenty times over in other titles.

And as I suspected from the very beginning, the sandbox feels very dead in between encampments. I'm already feeling bored of the game, and I'm just doing side ops to get the Platinum. So far, the only interesting thing to be found in gameplay for me, is FOB missions.

I spent all night last night just having the horse poop on Miller and dropping him off ledges. There's nothing else to do in this bland, lifeless world. I've started to kill the animals now. I just don't care.

That's another thing, the animals suck in this thing... and feel so mundane and boring. MGS3 is a decade old, and it's animal's were so much more fun.

There was a video of her offended by fans criticizing her character showing skin, she says that Liquid and Raven also fought shirtless. I think this lady is confused. Did Kojima zoomed up on Liquids' pecks in MGS1?

Oh man, no kidding. In MGS 3, each individual blade of grass moved so organically when you were crawling through it. You could get bit by snakes, or get rammed by a goat. In this game, the goats run away.

It's so funny, but for a 10 year old game, MGS 3 just feels a lot more realistic. And not to mention, a heck of a lot more authentic for its historical setting in the Cold War. There wren't any advanced Metal Gears, just the Shagohod - which was basically just a heavily armored tank with rocket propulsion.

Ugh... she sounds like an annoying social justice warrior. Quiet just sucks, I should Tweet that to her.

But there's no gratuitous butt shots of either of them.

Unfortunately.

No matter how you look at it, the PW and TPP Mechs completely **** up the continuity.

Shagohod crawled like an infant, which is a natural start... and it wasn't intended to ever be a walker. PW ran like a dog, and ZEKE walked up right... why did Retard REX need to stand up even taller? Only for REX to stand hunched over again? Not to mention these make TX55 and D look like drooling idiots in comparison.

Funny how PW and Retard REX are vulnerable to gun shots and the Shagohod isn't, whatsoever. It needed to be broken in half to be vulnerable.

I think Kojima went full out Pacific Rim on Inbred REX. I have no idea how this mech is supposed to be a grandfather of all future Metal Gears. Anything that can walk upright, and have two arms is automatically more powerful than slow moving missile platforms (which was essentially, everything from TX-55 to the RAYs). The tech that follows after this is more like a devolution.

It's so stupid, because all of the older and more advanced tech just undermines all of Solid Snake's accomplishments. Sure, he defeated TX-55 and Metal Gear D. But, Big Boss fought Peace Walker, while his phantom duked it out with Gypsy Danger :pow.

You know what's truly messed up about this game? It's that a fan theory turned out to be 100% true about the twist :lol. I remembered I saw this video a while back, and didn't take it seriously.

Releasing Ground Zeroes early was a mistake, and the trailers spoiled so many things, too. We're talking about the same man who wrote MGS 2, and underestimated the power of the Internet and how quickly bits and pieces of information (theories, in this case) are disseminated and compiled. There's a massive irony in that. He wrote an entire game about things like this, but fell victim to it, himself.
