And everything in HL2 transitions so seamlessly without you ever having to give up control. Considering the game came out in 2004, that was pretty danged revolutionary for the time.

And with complex story and gameplay no less.

You'd think they'd worry the player would miss important stuff because the player always has control. But nope, it's so well designed, that they make you look to wherever the story is happening.

In regards to all the previous posts, I'll only buy Kojima's new game if it's MGS2-level of brilliance. I'm sure he can pull it off, if he's done doing fanservice and half baked ideas. He needs to take a long break and come back with something that's a real work of art.

Like I said before, his biggest downfall are his fans. Remember, he came up with MGS2 when he didn't give a crap what you'd want (and eve dared to insult you) and let the end product to be judged and scrutinized by everyone.

Kojima is really strange about him not giving a crap...he doesn't care in reality, because his Twitter is the most bizarre **** of any game creator. But with games, he acts like he cares about fans yet clearly doesn't, even though they pushed him to this level.

Also Kojima has gotten his hands on Pokemon Go according to Twitter and I'm really worried. :panic: :horror: :thud:

Blind loyalty + support = money. Just how many fans bought MGSV figures without any context of who they were?

Everything MGS3 onward was fanservice in one way or another. Ironically, the two games that did their own thing and unbounded by (or not caring about) fan expectations were the ones I enjoyed most, which are MPO and MGR. Weird. :lol

Guilty. That's why I'm trying to off load the whole bunch.

And there are 2 more figures of the logo coming.

I think one is Medicom and one Figma. They look like cool figures but I just don't care about that design really, and I love astronauts.

There's actually a nendoroid as well. Makes me wonder did he struck a deal with them somehow.
As for the game, it will take at least a year or two for the release - lets just wait and see how long the hype will continue.

I was really excited for MPO when it came out as it's the first MGS game I actually played on release... V looked promising and the rest is history.
I'll probably pass on the new Kojima's game (can't even remember the name - -") not because of what had happened, but it just doesn't seem to
be something I would be interested in (based on the trailer which shows us nothing). Still wonder how Konami would handle MGS, though.

Deek Strangling :lecture

I just saw Yong Yuck's Interview with Code Talker's voice actor (I needed to watch to something while I work out) and I found out a few things:

- He's played by Jay Tavare, who played Vega in the Street Fighter live action movie.

- Tavare being a martial artist, Yong of course can't resist bragging about how he's also a martial artist. Just like how he told Hayter (a writer) he's also a writer and Chris Randolph (theater actor) that he's also a theater actor. I hope he interviews a prostitute next. :monkey3

- He was personally greeted by Kojima and Kojima even took photos with him. This confirms that Kojima is Hollywood crazy since he never treated his old English cast this royally.

Fixed. :lecture

That's what MGS fans wanted all these years, to get a new series staring a nude redneck. Game of the century!!!

Reedus is going to be the new "Solid Snake" in whatever Kojima has planned :pow.

It's hilarious how eeyonngayy's whatever he needs to be at the moment. It's like, if someone tells him, "When I was a child, I smoked crack cocaine". Yong would reply, "Hey, I was a crack baby too!".

He tries way too hard. If it weren't for the MGSVbros, he wouldn't have had as many subscribers as he does today.

Don't forget the endless cosplays (even though Quiet is stupidly easy to cosplay I guess?) and other silliness like that. MGR is still king though, but it's so funny how many 'hardcore fans' **** on MGR for being different and feeling like it's mocking them. Heaven forbid their reasons for hating it are for being bad at the game. :lol

....that means Reedus is a clone of someone else, and that someone will eventually became the face of the new Kojima thing :horror

Who is Yong again?

The comparison are going to come :lol >__>

A sad Korean man, with a terrible accent, who loves MGS V and sleeps with a Kojima body pillow. He's also a bandwagon jumper who seems to like every new thing that comes out.

Probably. I wonder if Kojima may take a page from Bloodstained and Mighty No. 9, and do some sort of spiritual successor to MGS :lol imagine doing stuff like that...or worse yet IF Death Stranding is an MGS successor :horror

Yong sounds familiar now! Maybe it's since we get too many bandwagon jumpers these days. :lol
