Nice waste of Sony's money. All the comments just reinforce my hate of the fandom.

"I don't care what it is. Kojima made it" is one, and is pretty much the definition of being his fan nowadays.

Eh... I thought it looked pretty cool. Good visuals, sound-effects, and I can at least hope the space-theme has something to do with Death Stranding. The armored knight with the flagpole on the moon immediately reminded me of this still from Tekkaman Blade.

Yeah it was cool for what it was, that being said, I'm kinda tired of his anachronistic designs with holograms and ****, that's not lit anymore.

I would've thought you liked the comments.

KOJIMA WHY DO HAVE YOUR LOGO BE CRYPTIC AS **** ASWELL? WHY YOU ASS WHY?
Can't wait for this overhyped game from an overhyped producer
:lol

I sure did, but it gets buried all under this blind loyalty nonsense. Between Kojima's narcissism, and the fandom, I just can't invest anymore money into anything he produces. This will be the first Koji game I don't buy.

I took a chance with V since I thought maybe I'm judging it too hard, but no. It fell right in line with my opinion when it first got announced, but it actually turned out worse than I predicted. For me anyway.

I'm just gonna wait until I play this game, before I judge it :lol. At least it's not another Metal Gear title, so at least it's something new, and hopefully original (lol not likely). I think if he ends up using TPP as a model for episodic content, the game's definitely going to suck.

Whether it's good or not, has yet to be seen. I'm not on a hate wagon already for it. It just already has one strike against it for me, since I cannot stomach Reedus Fetus.

And there are 2 more figures of the logo coming.

I think one is Medicom and one Figma. They look like cool figures but I just don't care about that design really, and I love astronauts.

Don't get me wrong, I still think Kojima is talented.

But part of me thinks he's just wants to see what he can get away with at this point, with stuff like that, too bad it's not creatively speaking.

I agree with that. He knows he's in such a position to do so, especially with that Konami tears dumb ****. All the Brojimas ate it up. He's too obsessed with being involved with Hollywood to do anything that speaks to his fans anymore. PW and V were so one dimensional compared to his previous works.

PW and V feel more like scatterbrain than one dimensional to me.

Like brilliant ideas here and there but not really all that well tied down to the MGS ground, like say MGS2.

That's a good way of putting it. There's nothing to take away from them, then a few good gameplay. More so PW.

As for MGS2, nothing has come close to how well thought out and executed in the series since. MGS3 gets a lot of love, although I think too much.

And I'm not sure how brilliant either, most of the stuff in MGSV is someone else's thought, "auteur'd" onto an MGS canvas, but I haven't thought about MGSV or played for a while so maybe I'm being unfair.

I think most fans got started with MGS3, that's why it gets so much love, it's a good straight forward story.

MGSV gameplay is superb imo, if only the rest of the game's design was on par with that.

I think the idea of V's gameplay is better then the execution. I'll agree it took steps forward in regard to PW. But it's hampered with dead sandboxes. MGS3 and RE4 share much in regard to bringing in newbs that ended up changing the course of both series.

Yep, I used to think it was all around brilliant when it came to gameplay, and that may still be true in today's gaming standards, but having played the Half-Life series again made me remember how a real masterpiece in every way looks like.

And the brilliant level design in HL2 made MGSV maps feel like Garry's mod :lol
