Re: Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain

Oh I gotcha now.

Yeah they it won't be the same, but at least we don't know for a fact that it will suck yet, so my hopes are up.

Re: Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain

I agree 100%at least it hasn't reached the status of RE6 yet talk about a turd.

I would say MGS has only reached the halfway point to becoming Resident Evil. I can't see MGS becoming any worse than what it currently is. On the other hand, RE can still become even worse :lol

That's cause RE lost it's main creative mind and so far Kojima has only lost his mind from time to time lol.

If Kojima left the series it would be gone for good I agree he has lost his mind here and there.

Re: Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain

I do remember when news hit that they were pursuing a movie a few years back that it was going to be set in Alaska. So that's good news at least that it would be MGS1.

Cause be set in Alaska starring Raiden or Big boss stranger things have happened.

Re: Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain

It sucks how everyone has thrown Hayter under the bus.

"...friend of mine used to be Snake, but Kiefer is a class by himself". -- Avi Arad (no idea who he is, but he knows Kojima and Hayter)

The switch from Hayter to Sutherland, isn't just an insult to Hayter, but also to all of the MGS fans who have been following the series for all of these years.

And no offense to Kiefer, I loved his work in 24 - but, I have to say that he's not the great actor that everyone makes him out to be. Before he was Jack Bauer, he was very much under the radar - just like Christian Slater and Kevin Bacon.
