Sigh. Can't a MGS female character ever dress appropriately?

They should have at least given her some camo pants. She's going into battle in a desert (with scorching sun, sandstorms, etc), not dressing semi-nude for a cyber punk anime.

Cosplay used to be cool, now even porn actresses are doing it

That being said, I don't mind them showing skin, at least not in MGS, MGS got me used to it, it's Japanese after all, if I saw that on western games, It'd be weird, also, Kojima's not talentless.

That being said, I don't mind them showing skin, at least not in MGS, MGS got me used to it, it's Japanese after all, if I saw that on western games, It'd be weird, also, Kojima's not talentless.

I was just thinking about how remarkable it was, that Kojima managed to develop MGS from that primitive game in 80's, to what it is today. I truly consider him as the greatest video game director of our time.

Lol this is nothing new. Liquid Snake and Raven in the Alaskan environment shirtless. Psycho Mantis in gimp gear. Vamp....Fortune.....FATMAN. Arguably none of the characters in the series have realistic or practical designs. It's a video game that's basically a comic book.

As for the actual image, it looks amazing. The web gear looks like the real deal.

Yup, looks like this is this is definitely shaping up to be the videogame equivalant of Schindler's List. I can't wait to be horrified by the brutalities of war while ogling the occasional skimpy bouncy women that I need to save/fight.

One thing Schindler's List got wrong is that no one had bouncy ****s. Now I can't wait for this game!

You're right Jack, it is nothing new. It just contradicts this so called "dark and gritty" direction the game has been promising.

Take Batman Arkam City for example, with Catmowan's outlandish outfit that can easily get her killed in the world of the game, but the developers were smart enough to have the thugs make sexist comments pointing that out, (to Paul Dini's dismay btw) but that's a great way to balance out the realism in the game.

Kojima should just take a break from this kinds of designs, let the women be smart and dressed appropriately just this one time, lets tweet him to go and play the Last of Us.

It really pisses me off that cosplay is a priority to creative direction in this franchise. Just keep running this franchise into the ground Hideo.

I sure hope we get another Big Boss game! Since that's never been done four times in a row already!

I really don't blame Kojima for encouraging sexier MGS cosplays. He's probably tired of seeing those fat-***, butterball Snakes and ugly Meryls at every MGS signing.
