Re: Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain

Demo? Where did you get this info from?
Is this really happening?

BTW, knowing kojima love for surprises and trolling, i would'n be shocked if David Hayter was voicing a younger Solid Snake in this game...

Lets wait and see =)

He showed off a demo on Ground Zeroes a few days ago at the Konami LA studio. They will show the same demo on the 19th at TGS and I read probably show even more on that day.

Really excited for this game and as of right now the only game I care about coming out.

All the trailers released has got me really excited. I’m already loving the music being put in. I also like Big Boss’ updated design, and the darker story being told. I just really hope we finally see Zero as a villain in this.

If this isn't the eye candy you've been waiting for, Idk what's wrong with you :lol

Better than Miley though.

MGS hasn't been the same since it lost its' main theme and Norihiko Hibino left. Coincidentally, that's when the games started to go downhill. :(

Once they got hit with the copyright crap it killed the music. MGS3 is the peak of the OSTs of the series.

I think he means the music in the trailer, and I agree.

And yes, MGS4 didn't have a great soundtrack either, it was just meh mostly, to me.

Although, PW soundtrack is straight up fantastic.

I think MPO beats PW in the OST dept. Calling to the Night was better than Heavens Divide, I didn't care for that at all.

I can't honestly choose which MGS had the better music 1,2 or 3. A Konmi in-house team did all of MGS1 while the awesome duo Harry Gregson-Williams and Hibino san made 2 & 3.

Speaking of which, no word on Gregson-Williams being back that I'm aware of.

:exactly: Don't forget the sweet in-game music! I really miss Hibino now.

No surprise there. I think MGS3 had the best orchestrated tunes, but MGS1's OST is too damn iconic.

I think of the MGS "Main Theme" this is the best rendition.

It was the exact same opposite for me in terms of the whole OST :lol

In terms of main theme, I like Heavens Divide a lot better than Calling to the night.

But I think Snake Eater just crushes them all.

In terms of the in-game music, I mean:

I can't put a finger on my favorite track.

Snake Eater is the best vocal track, but I still love The Best is Yet to Come.

If I had to pick a favorite track outside the main themes it's gotta be...

Re: Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain

This is still the best boss battle theme in gaming...

Re: Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain

Oh, talking about the whole MGS universe of songs I can't pick a favorite :lol

I could spend an entire weekend listening to all of them.

I was merely talking about PW's ost alone.

Hell yeah. There's just too much to talk about in regards to the original 3 MGS soundtracks. Do you own the CDs Plis?

BTW, I woke up at 8 a.m today after hearing those grueling schedules you guys have and I haven't done that in months, work doesn't start until 2 p.m so I've gotten lazy. :lol

:goodpost: I love "Takedown" :hi5:
You should hear "Snake Eater" performed live man. It's mind blowing!
