Mechs can be so much more reliable than tanks for scaling rough terrain. In addition to having hands for gripping things, and more maneuverability. It's strange how the Military isn't funding development towards them.. Or, maybe they are but are just keeping a tight lid on it.

I would totally trade my M1A1 Abrams for Ray in a heart beat.

Super Soldiers of Super Mechs like Rex are the future of the war, they must be working ob a nice a nuclear deterrent, something better than a nuke but still lethal imho

It will bet someone is working on one.

Maybe :panic:

Haha. Someone had their SSF MGS freak out phase today I see. Yeah, that happens. Sometimes you just get confused, all of that subconscious anger towards what is happening with MGS comes out and then you realize.. **** it really is Kojima's fault. I went through that phase. It's okay, us hardcore MGS fans here at SSF tend to have very AB conversations.. so you know.. :)

Very well said :clap

This type of things are only going to get worse when the game eventually comes out :lol

Re: Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain

I think it really is hard for a lot of us older MGS fans to deal with how MGS has changed. The negativity is like a cold shower at first, and you don't get why the hot water isn't working. Haha. Then you realize you're upset too, and it all makes sense. I think you're right, when the game comes out things like this will likely increase. That or the game will be good and maybe things will get better.

Anyway, I'm still excited for MGSV, I hope that it turns out better than I expected. If anything, I'm happy there is something keeping the MGS franchise alive and product being made. Plus we're one step closer to the return of Solid.

I also really want to see the explanation for how Big Boss gets a new arm. Obviously it will be cybornetic, but the era is wrong for the technology.. so I'm hoping will see the beginnings of the program that leads to Cyborg Ninja and Raiden.

Re: Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain

Yeah the story in V really doesn't make much sense when you look at the rest of the timeline, it's going to be a weird path from point A (MGS V) to B (MG1).
